every time i see

our wedding picture

on the living room wall

we were both so young

way back then

so innocent, so naive

just heeding love's call

but these are not tears

of sadness or pain

they are tears of

joy and happiness

for as much as i loved you then

i still love you now

as beautiful as you were then

you are even more beautiful now

and these 50 years together

have been my best
