Eyes wipe open, my

Patience wearing thin

other nights i

Scarcely even 

Lay on my pillow before my

Eyes are closed and

Everything is black and 

Peaceful slumber overtakes me

one day i know

Sleep will be ever-

Lasting

Eternal and un-

Ending

Perpetual peace?
