my brother in law

came for the day

he's not a bad dude

i really have to say

but he's a tad opinionated

and he's never wrong

even when you show him

he doesn't change his song

and he likes to drink

a little more than he should

he is diabetic

and his heart isn't that good

and his memory wanes

with each passing drink

and the stories are repeated

ten times, i think

but he is family

unfortunately so

and the best time i like him

is when he has to go
