"Because you love them," Nozel finished my sentence and embracing me as tears started to leak out then fall down my cheeks.

"ASTA!!!"

3rd P.O.V.

You had become so exhausted after that new spell and crying about Asta that you had fainted. Nozel, once more, picked you up bridal style and sighs.

"Even Fugoleon was defeated, how strong are these Eye of the Midnight Sun?" He muttered under his breath.

Ryujikan poofed back into his human form in an alley and sighed, "Dear Lord, She used too much magic, killing those zombies, unlocking a new spell, trying to heal that dude. What am I going to do with you, Y/N?" He sighed as he walked beside Nozel.

"Asta... They took Asta!" Noelle realized, "We've to go get him!"

"We can't Noelle, " Klaus countered, "We have no way of finding them, I'm sorry."

"But-" 

"No, Buts, Noelle," Nozel interrupted, "Our priority is to protect the rest of the Clover Kingdom, They might've not been the only ones. We don't have any time or magic to waste on him." He said, referring to Asta. He glanced towards Fugoleon as the cross you made slowly disintegrated.

"With my magic, the best I can do is first aid! He needs to be taken to a medical ward or he might...he might..." Mimosa trailed off.

"Who could've done this to a magic Knights Captain?" Klaus said with fear creeping into his voice. 

"Pfft! Some captain!" Solid snickered.

"The house of Vermillion ain't something like it used to be! It makes me embarrassed to be a royal!" Nebra added.

"Solid nii-sama, Nebra onee-sama..." Noelle said in disbelief.

"We are Magic Knights. If we fail, our existence means nothing," Nozel said coldly.

"Nozel-sama..." Noelle said in another tone of disbelief.

"This is so gonna tarnish his reputation!" Solid sadistically remarked.

"However, not being there for the fight makes us lesser than him," Nozel added shutting Solid up.

Medics soon arrived and took Fugoleon and one Asked Nozel, "Nozel-sama? Do you want me to take her as well?" Nozel stared down at the h/c girl. Her tear-stained face looking so at peace whilst she slept. "Um...Nozel-sama?"

"She's unconscious due to loss of mana, take her to a place to rest," Nozel declared, "Take him as well," He added pointing towards Ryujikan.

Y/N P.O.V.

I sense something...

*Hey stupid*

*Ryujikan?!*

I bolted awake to see him in his dragon form, perched on the handle of my medical bed. 

What happened...

*ASTA!*

"Where is he!?" I began to run around in the hospital until I bumped into someone, "Sor-"

"Hi Y/n!" Asta said as tears started to leak out of my eyes.

"You idiot! I was so worried!" You said while crying and noogying (?) him.

"Ow...Sorry for worrying you the Wizard King saved me though!" Asta announced and pointed towards the Wizard King behind him and I realized I probably looked like a complete fool.

"I'm sorry you had to witness that sir. It's just that I'm kind of a mix of emotions right now. Regardless, thank you for saving my dope-head of a brother!" You thanked him.

"Ah no need," He replied with a smile.

"Excuse me," Nozel said, walking by my room.

"Ano...Y/N..." Mimosa said quietly.

"Yeah?" 

"When you fainted, Nozel carried you until the medics arrived, so you should thank him," She noted.

"Oh, mkay," I replied curtly as I went to go thank him, "I don't really want to though, just doing it for Mimosa." I chanted.

Seriously?! A noble carrying a peasant?! Is he some sort of Tsundere/Kuudere prince charming?! Nah, he was probably forced to or some shit like that...

Out of nowhere, a damn rock came out of nowhere and I was just too lazy to care at this point in time. I mean, I had to thank a royal, I had fainted, I had to do some more shit after I get released, you really can't blame me.

"Ah shit," I said, ready to kiss the floor but once more, someone saved me. 

Even the floor rejects me...I sighed at my odd thoughts written by Author-chan.

Guess who though? Nozel...

"What do you want? I have better things to do," Nozel stated.

Dear lord. Is this what I get for trying to thank someone?!

 "I'm here against my will but what I'm saying is true. Thank you for saving my shitty ass and have a good day too," I rhymed because I was too lazy to speak normally. I whirled around and took off, slouching as I walked.

Nozel P.O.V. 

Did she come just to apologize? In that state? She's unique, I'll give her that.
