This is a one-shot requested by MinakoArisato04! It is a William Vengeance one shot!

Of course, this is if William was younger! And by the way, I will be introducing a new character and this is part 1 of the one-shot!

I was enjoying a beautiful dessert one day at the Golden Dawn and saw the Barbie girl. I think her name was Asumi, More like pain-in-the-Ass-umi, if I'm being completely honest. Anyways, she approached me with someone who looked like a blonde doppelganger of her. Snobby, overdosed with makeup and wearing way too short skirts.

They were talking to someone spouting how queer it was that they were accepted into the Golden Dawn. I mean, they're probably a royal...

"Ugh! You disrespectful commoner! Not even listening to us! You never deserved to get into this squad! I can't believe Captain Vangeance let you in! How did you even get in?!" Ass-umi yelled at me.

Oh. They were talking to me!

"First, how I got in? Dunno. Second? Let me eat, you royals," I said, finger-flaunting at the last part.

"c'mon, Asumi, let's let this commoner eat until she gets fat, then she'll be a disgrace to the Golden Dawn and get kicked out!" Her friend explained.

"You're right, Kanari. Bye-bye peasant~!" She said in her sickeningly sweet and fake voice.

I was walking around HQ and got lost. You can't blame me! The headquarters is sooooo big!  I heard the 2 royal pain in the asses laughing, down the hallway and ducked into a room. I saw a door where there was a balcony and I felt something pulling me towards it. I opened the door to find the sky. It was pitch black, the stars shining adorning the horizon. If I looked far ahead enough, I could see the sun slowly slipping away and pulling the light pastel colours of the sunset with it.

"It's beautiful, is it not?" I heard a familiar voice. I whirled around to see Captain Vangeance!

"Y-Yes it is..." I mumbled. There's something about Captain Vangeance that somewhat intimidates me...Maybe his future as possible next Wizard King, I don't know. Oddly, when I'm around him, my heartbeat kinda quickens up! Could I like him? No! He's my captain and a royal! He may only be a few years older but still!

"Did you happen to get lost?" He asked me.

"A-Ah! No, I was just looking around...!" I lied because I didn't want to sound stupid.

"Really? Well, this is my room and not many people come to look around without permission," Captain Vangeance noted.

Well, shit. I'm screwed...

"I'm so sorry! I didn't know that! The truth is I might've accidentally get lost! Please don't kick me out of the Golden Dawn, please!" I pleaded.

"It's okay, Y/N. Just meet me in my office tomorrow so I can assign you your next mission," Captain Vangeance assured me.

The next few days, the captain and I had grown closer and closer, to the point we would greet each other, have some small talk and drop formalities-even though I tend to forget that sometimes. Every time I was around him, my heart would lightly thump. I wonder why...

I woke up late and I ran to his office.

"I'm sorry for being late!" I blurted out.

"It's okay. By the way, did you sleep well?" He asked me calmly.

"Yes! The bed is so comfy and soft and-Now I'm just rambling! Sorry!" I apologized bowing again. My nerves had oddly been all jumbled up lately, "Anyways, what's my mission today, sir?"

"You don't have to call me sir. I thought we dropped the formalities, Y/N," He commented, giving me one of his closed-eye smiles that make my face burn up, "William or Vangeance should be fine by now at least,"

"O-okay William...!" I nervously stated, hiding my blushing face. I guess I'm not used to his first name yet...

"Anyways, your mission will be to collect these crystals," He said, showing my some blue and purple crystals, "They are Estheritian crystals (Made up), the last type of Estheretian crystals in the world actually. I-"

"They're beautiful!" I blurted out then covered my mouth, "Sorry William!"

When I called him by his first name something unexpected happened...

William P.O.V.

When she said my name so casually, I felt blood rush to my face but I don't know why... 

Y/N P.O.V.

The captain blushed!... I think...? 

"A-Anyways," The captain stuttered then coughed, "You will be searching for this crystal alone, if that is okay with you, Y/N."

"It's fine with me, William!" I announce.

I went into the dungeon all alone the following day. It was a very pretty dungeon! There were ivory flowers that turned pink at the tips and smelled like fresh cinnamon buns! There were also these blue butterflies that looked like they were made of glass jewels!

I explored a little further and I saw it.

There were dark green vines wrapping around glistening stones around the pond of sparkling water. There was a small cascade of water flowing down from an open crack in the wall and then I saw them. The Estheritian crystals! But this time they weren't just the same shade of purple and blue, they were all shades! Pastel-like, brighter, darker, you name it!

But in the corner of my eye, disrupting my blissful state, I saw someone.

He seemed to have spotted me as well, his red eyes glaring into my soul...
