tryin to toy with his character a little more and brainstorming:

-he has a phobia and hatred of heroes. the eyepatch isnt for the aesthetic, a hero attacked his villainous parents when he was little and zach got caught in the crossfire.
-an incredibly good pilot and mechanic. runs his ship entirely by himself and does repairs to it

-also a good marksman- really the only thing keeping him back is the fact that hes a total idiot.

-some sorta reptilian alien

-doesnt understand thAT HES ALWAYS SHOUTING 24/7 AND THAT BOTHERS PEOPLE

-woefully oblivious to everything around him, including other peoples feelings. he doesnt mean to be so off-putting...he just doenst get it, as opposed to miles, who gleefully manipulates others and trampled over them intentionally

-however...dont push him too far. hes still a villain, and hes armed with a laser gun. pissing him off or frightening him isn't a good choice if you value your life

-super bombastic and hyper. the kids constantly running on caffeine

-he has a very specific delusion of grandeur and you really shouldn't try to challenge it

-no personal space. likes to touch ppls faces, hug them, etc. much the miles chagrin.

-incredibly skilled, but has the logic and common sense of a sack of potatoes
