i doubt anyone remembers this, but i had a little story idea called "ultimate conqueror of the universe." not exactly a novel, but more fitting for a cartoon.

(honestly couldnt remember the names so i made new ones)

in a world were supervillains and superheroes duke it out in cool, flashy spaceships and decide the fate of the universe... zacharias just isn't. he has an ego as big as the universe he plans to take over, but lacks the critical thinking skills and common sense the job requires. not that he notices. hes cartoonishly evil- his idea of villainry is spinning around in a chair and stroking a cat as he plants a flag with his face on it on a mediocre planet.

enter 'the black mile' (miles for short), a human who also plans to take over the universe. hes down to earth, sullen, and actually competent. a natural businessman and entrepreneur, miles dreams of holding a monopoly on every single resource in existence, including water and air, fundamentally ruling the world via capitalism. unfortunately for miles, hes a weak and squishy human, and he cant even fly a spaceship.

miles stumbles into a villain bar, looking for muscle, only to come across zacharias, deep in the midst of his villain motive rant. hoping to escape some angry aliens he pissed off by conning them, miles agrees to team up with zacharias and become his """""henchman"""""

...and thus begins their wacky conquest of the universe

other characters include vespa the empress of darkness, an actually dangerous villainess who, when off the job, just really likes knitting and kittens and being girly. she is zacharias's (and later miles) big sister figure and tries to keep them out of trouble.

and then theres the shining savior of the galaxy, whos a vicious hero that takes zacharias's claims of being a villain waaay more seriously than he should and wants his head on a silver platter. hes a mean hero whos not adverse to killing or beating up kid villains

pretty much imagine if wander over yonder, invader zim, and villainous had drunken sex and produced a love child

thoughts? the concept arts a little wonky but im working with colors and stuff still
