"So, Hoseok left huh?" Taehyung asked sitting on the couch next to Jimin

"Yeah, this Sunday" Jimin nodded "Hey, thank you for coming over" Jimin smiled at his best friend.

"Yeah, of course" Taehyung smiled back. It was nice being friends again.

"I feel like I owe you an explanation" Jimin sighed looking down at his hands.

"Okay" Taehyung looked at Jimin with a small frown.

"You were the first guy I ever really liked, everyone else, all the other love letters, were born out of fantasy. But yours was based off of actually really knowing you."

Taehyung glanced at the floor unsure of what to say.

"And I guess I never realized how I truly felt about you until you became Hoseok's boyfriend. But over time that feeling just faded away and I missed my best friend" Jimin gave a shrug, "And it wasn't love."

"Then why didn't you just tell me that? I feel like I would have understood" Taehyung frowned.

"Well I couldn't, I didn't know until...Jungkook" Jimin bit down on his bottom lip at the mention of his name.

Taehyung nodded, dropping his eyes to the floor again, "Right, Jungkook."

"It was real in a different way, and I'm really sorry" Jimin shook his head.

"No reason to be sorry, it's like...I think I know where you're coming from. It's like how it was with Hoseok and I, you know minus all the fake stuff, but everything else" Taehyung chuckled earning a grin from Jimin.

"Did you stop loving Hoseok after he broke up with you?" Jimin asked curiously.

"No, not at first... at some point it changed though, the longer he was gone, the more I understood why he ended it. You feel the same way about Jungkook?" Taehyung asked looking up at his best friend.

"I know you don't like him" Jimin shook his head.

"I like how he stood up for you today. I mean he should have done it a lot sooner, but then again, he is a jock and their slow learners" Taehyung smiled.

Jimin laughed, "You are such a snob."

"Look, if you miss him, then why don't you just tell him?"

"I can't."

"And why's that?"

Jimin sighed  "Because if it wasn't real then I didn't lose anyone, but if I say that it was real and he still doesn't want me..."

"Then at least you'll know" Taehyung offered gently, "Jimin, you gotta tell people how you feel when you feel it. You can't just sit up in your room writing love letters that you're never gonna send out. I mean Jungkook wouldn't even be in your life if they hadn't gotten out in the first place" Taehyung pointed out.

Jimin nodded, "Yeah, you definitely have a point" Jimin bit down on his lip again, "I dunno, I'm just so tired of writing love letters. It would be nice to be the one receiving them."

At that moment, Sungwon walked in holding the box Jimin's mom had given him, "Jimin, I have something for you. Don't kill me, it's just...you were always throwing those away and I thought they were something you should keep" Sungwon smiled sheepishly as he handed over the box.

Jimin opened the box to see all the notes Jungkook had given him during their fake relationship, "You saved all these?" Jimin frowned.

Sungwon only nodded.

Jimin picked up one of the notes, he'd never bothered to read them after the first one, It only said 'Thanks for doing this' so he assumed they were all the same.

"Jimin, everyone was so impressed by your presentation in lit, but especially me, I love having a smarty pants fake boyfriend" Jimin smiled at the note before picking another one.

"It's so cool how we can talk to each other about real stuff" Jimin bit his lip once again.

"You looked so beautiful today" Jimin blushed

"You still think you haven't gotten a love letter?" Taehyung smiled.

Jimin smiled back looking at his best friend and younger brother – he knew what he had to do now
