Fake dating Jungkook was getting easier and easier. It had been about a month now and Jungkook's friends had already accepted him. All in all it was going well, that is until Taehyung showed up at Jimin's door.

"Hey can we talk?"

Jimin shrugged as he followed Taehyung out onto the porch.

"I can't believe you're dating Jeon" Taehyung huffed

"Why?" Jimin frowned. "I mean is it so unbelievable that someone could like me?" Jimin was hurt

"No it's... unbelievable that...You're like the sweet innocent boy and... and he's like a complete dick. I don't get it" Taehyung snapped

"You know you make me sound really boring right Taehyung?" Jimin snapped back, "I'm not that innocent"

Taehyung scoffed in response, "Okay"

"Great, well if that's all you wanted to talk to me about then..." Jimin stepped past Taehyung.

"No, I.. wait" Taehyung sighed.

Jimin turned with a pained expression

"Look..." Taehyung looked at Jimin carefully. "Did you mean what you wrote in the letter?"

Jimin opened his mouth but paused, he didn't know what to say. The whole point of him and Jungkook dating was to keep from having to answer that question. Taehyung was supposed to move past it and think that Jimin had feelings for Jungkook not him. What was he supposed to say? Jimin didn't even know the truth. Sure, he still cared for Taehyung, but...it wasn't like with Jungkook. What if the way he felt towards Jungkook was real and he only cared for Taehyung like a friend?

"I don't know" Jimin shrugged taking a step backwards "It was a long time ago"

"Not for me, alright? This is all new, so I'm like..." Taehyung huffed bitterly "I'm trying to understand here"

"There's nothing to understand" Jimin shook his head quickly. "Look, it was a mistake, you should have never seen it."

"Yeah, well I did see it, alright, so what am I supposed to do?" Taehyung snapped in frustration.

"Not tell Hoseok?" Jimin suggested, though his tone was pleading

"Hoseok's not even talking to me, alright so you don't have to worry about that" Taehyung's voice was getting louder and his posture more defensive.

 "I'm...sorry" Jimin whispered before turning away

"That's it?" Taehyung demanded throwing his hands up, "Hoseok dumps me, you're dating Jeon, and...and we can't even be friends anymore?" Taehyung was practically yelling now.

"Taehyung, I don't know how to be friends with you like this" Jimin said whirling around. "We can't go back to the way things were before you and Hoseok were dating and we definitely can't go back to how they were when you and Hoseok were dating."

"Had I known I was gonna lose both of you like this, I wouldn't..."

"Stop" Jimin cut him off, "Don't finish that sentence."

"I just..." Taehyung sighed out sadly.

Jimin reached for the door

"No, you can't just ignore me" Taehyung threw his hands up again, his tone sharp and angry with a hint of desperation.

Jimin shook his head, "We can't.. we can't talk, I'm sorry" Jimin pushed open his front door and closed himself inside
