omg I have a story for this.

I ended last week talking about church, and I'm starting this one doing the same.

This has to do with the youth group. At this particular time, our youth leader was a middle-aged white guy who drove a mini van (I guess, picture Kurt Angle, but if he wasn't a wrestler).

He was talking to us about secular music, movies, media, etc. At the time, this was a popular song, so he decided to talk about it.

Instead of playing it, like any regular person, he chose to read us the lyrics. Lyrics that mention "daddies at the playground."

Now imagine Kurt doing that. Imagine him doing it with his kids also in the room.

HIS KIDS ARE IN THE YOUTH GROUP. IT WAS WEIRD.

Now my brother and I can only think of this when we hear this song lmao

For those that don't know, this is Candice LeRae's theme song.

She recently put some pictures on her Instagram story of people finding her (and Joey's) shirts in Hot Topic. She also (NXT SPOILERS!!) had a match at the last NXT tapings and she won!

(Oh, and her husband is gonna be the next NXT Champion)

I'm just so proud of her and happy for all the good things coming her way. She deserves all of it. :)

Next to Me - Emeli Sandé

I've been watching this British quiz show on YouTube (it might be yearly/annual? Not sure). Anyway, I just watched the one from 2012.

One of the teams guessed that a mystery guest was Emeli Sandé, and I was like "dang, I forgot about her." So I looked her up, and I actually remember this song.

I ended up listening to lots of her stuff, and she is so good! Why don't I ever hear her on the radio anymore? She's better than so many of the current people on the radio.

I was just blown away by her voice, and I wanted to remind y'all that she exists.

Someone (I say "someone", but it was Emma Blackery lol) on Twitter asked for a part in song that gives you chills, and I instantly thought of this one (near the beginning, when he kinda starts whispering? ugh it's so good)

This is a hella good song, and I miss MCR.
