Anybody Got a Map? - Dear Evan Hansen

For most songs like this one, I'll just put the musical title instead of listing everybody involved.

Anyway.

For those unfamiliar with DEH, this is the first song of the show. It features two moms (Heidi and Cynthia) trying to navigate parenthood as best they can, while they watch their sons (Evan and Connor) struggle through life.

I chose this song for the second day of 2018 because I think we can all agree that 2017 sucked pretty badly. But, maybe, if we'd had a map to help us figure things out, it wouldn't have been quite so bad.

We probably all wish we had a map for 2018, instead of just flying blind.

Cinderblock Garden - All Time Low

I chose this song because every now and then, I think I want a tattoo. But then I think hard about it and change my mind.

But if I were to get a tattoo, it'd say "finding the gold in our darkest moments", a line from this song.

I finally figured out what some people are basing their really cliche fanfics on: this song.

Listen to this and tell me it's not every cliche fanfic about a member of The Shield.

(Also, I really love Hairspray. I think Tracy Turnblad might be a dream role.)
