This is just my average day at a bookstore.

Every time I walk into a bookstore, I always look for something Tolkien-related. Maybe a pretty copy of Lord of the Rings or an antique copy of The Silmarillion...

But there's usually nothing.

Real swell, huh?

Well, on this particular day, I was just about to walk out of the store when something caught my eye. It was an orange and yellow book with a ring on the cover.

A Brief Guide to J.R.R. Tolkien.

Heck yeah!

Hey guys!

So I've been reading this book called A Brief Guide to J.R.R. Tolkien. It's a biography by Nigel Cawthorne.

It's so interesting! It explains Tolkien's early life, the Inklings (Tolkien and C.S. Lewis - two of my favourite authors) and it has summaries of his main books. It's got information on all the main characters and races.

It even talks about Tolkien's thoughts on his book being made into a film!

I highly recommend it! If you're not a big reader and don't want to read the many long books that Tolkien wrote, there's a ton of information about them in less than 300 pages.

If it's at your local bookstore, get it. It's really interesting, really cool and it gives you more of J.R.R. Tolkien!

I hope you guys find it interesting - I know I certainly did!

Even if you can find it, you can always get another biography or search up Tolkien on the internet. He was such an inspiring man and you should definitely know more about him!

Alright, I see you guys for Ask Arda tomorrow! ;) We've got Boromir, Faramir and Denethor the Disgusting as our special guests.

Bye!
