A blessing, A curse.

Izuku was dead. Well, atleast that's how he thought he was, he expected his soul to be transferred somewhere or be on a train towards the afterlife, or be surrounded by flames, be in hell or something, or atleast be reincarnated as a rock.

But he never thought that it would be like how the school bus picks you up for school.

"C'mon kid, I don't have all day." The little girl, obviously smaller than him, called out, motioning him to get in some sort of vehicle, which Izuku thought was a ferrari, and confirmed is a ferrari.

'Who is she..? Is she like the grim reaper? If that's the case, than why does she look like little girl? And why does she have a ferrari? How peculiar. Wait, aren't grim reapers supposed to have death scythes or something--'

"I'm not a grim reaper ya' little brat," She hissed, surprising the freckled teen "You can read minds!?"

"You were muttering out loud you dumbhead," She said, annoyed "But yes, I can read minds."

"Oh, sorry.." Izuku apologized, making the little girl sigh "Just come with me, don't make my job harder than it is."

"But I-"

"HURRY UP!"

Izuku flinched, stopping for a moment. He looked back at his corpse, which was still being embraced by the one and only Katsuki Bakugo.

'He's so close..!' Izuku thought, flustered. He felt embarrased for himself, even a dead guy like him can still be flustered about his crush embracing his body (And he kinda wished his soul was still in it too), he jumped off a fucking building for Goddamn sake! Why was he getting so worked up on this?

"Quit your blushing and get your dead ass inside the damn vehicle!" The little girl yelled yet again, which Izuku replied with a nervous yes, looking back at Katsuki before going inside the car.

'Farewell, Kacchan.'

The ride to God-knows-where was pretty peaceful. Even though Izuku knew the consequences for taking his own life, he couldn't help but feel relaxed.

Izuku kept noticing the little girl behind the wheel though, he had so many questions. 'Why does she look so pissed off? Isn't this supposed to be her job? She seems really mad at me, is driving underage legal in the afterlife?'

"Um, Miss-"

"What?" The little girl cut him off quickly, her eyebrows scrunching un annoyance "I still don't know your name-"

"Tsk, people like you don't deserve to know my name," She said, glaring at him. But this time, Izuku returned that glare "I don't get you, why are you so mad?"

"Well, what do you fucking think? You just made my job a whole lot harder because of that fucking stunt you pulled back on earth." She hissed, not looking at him.

This made Izuku angrier "I may have killed myself but that doesn't give you the right to do your job poorly," He said, not thinking about what he was even saying "I died, the least you could do is tell me where were goi-"

"Do you even know what my job is?" She asked, cutting him off "Um, aside from bringing dead people to the afterlife?"

"Yep."

"No." Izuku answered "Do you have another job aside from this?"

"Yes, and that's all because of you," She said "How so?"

"I was ordered to keep an eye on you while you were on earth," She said "Make sure you don't do anything that will bend the future."

"Why me?" Izuku asked honestly "Out of all the peope in the world, why did 'they' tell you to look after me?"

"Because you're the most important piece in this generation, Izuku." She said, not looking away from him "According to the fates, after you met All might, that should have lighten a fire inside of you," She continued "You were supposed to save someone,"

"You weren't supposed to die yet."

Izuku was silent, trying to process the information he was hearing "But, something went wrong," She said "All might said more than what was needed to be said," She continued "Everything went wrong, you weren't supposed to have an attack like that during class, get cornered alone by Katsuki or jump off that damn building,"

"So me, the other superiors, heck-even the fates are currently having a crisis right now," She sighed "They didn't predict this future, and now the gods are mad at them, at us."

"You were this generations future." She continued "But you're dead now." She said "And now, the future on earth is nothing but chaos."

"N-no way.." Izuku muttered, finally processing everything "Y-you got it all wrong," He chuckled nervously "I'm quirkless! How can someone as worthless as me be this generations future!?"

"You were gonna be the next holder," She answered "The greatest holder,"

Izuku was more than confused "W-what? H-holder of what? I-I don't understa-" Izuku was cut off when she stepped on the brakes "Get out, we need to fix this quickly."

Izuku obliged silently, stepping out of the car and looking at his surroundings. Everything was dark, no living soul can be seen, it was all dark colors as far as the eye could see, the cold air made Izuku shiver, but nevertheless, he followed the little girl towards a desk, which he thought was peculiar since it came out from the middle of nowhere.

"Take a seat, Izuku." The girl said as she sat from behind the desk "So, I'm gonna make this quick,"

"You aren't supposed to be here."

Izuku felt his body tense, and although he was dead, he felt that familiar pain in his chest 'Great, I don't belong in the afterlife either.' He thought bitterly, looking down.

"I never said you didn't belong here you brat," She sighed, placing her hand on her forehead hopelessly "Stop thinking such absurd things,"

"Anyways, as one of the gods representatives, I should be sending your soul to hell right now," She sighed "Or the underworld, just whatever you wanna call it,"

"However.." She placed both her hands infront of her face and intertwined them with each other, looking at the green haired boy with a serious face "You're too important."

"And that is why the superiors here on the afterlife has come to an agreement," She continued "A chance for you to redeem yourself," She stated "A chance to go back and undo what you did."

"I don't want redemption," Izuku whispered painfully "Just send me off, please." He begged, tears forming at the corner of his eyes "I-I don't want to go back-"

"Your tears say otherwise," She frowned "We rarely do this, Izuku," She said "Chances like this only happens once in like, forever."

"Do you understand what this means, Izuku?" She asked, looking at him. Izuku nodded in response, not looking back at her.

"This means that you really are important," She said "Your existence is too significant that the gods are more than willing to bend the rules just to bring you back to life-"

"But why?" Izuku cutted her off, his voice sounding painfully strained "H-how am I so important? J-just what will I do t-to be t-this important like you said?"

This made her silent "I can't tell you any more, it would be breaking the laws of time." She finally answered "That is something you must figure out yourself."

"Just trust me when I tell you this," The girl stood up, placing her forehead on Izuku's, who was still sitting on his seat, looking up at her as tears threaten to fall down his nature green eyes.

"You will become a hero."

Izuku finally broke. The girl slowly pulled her forehead back, staring at the boy with eyes filled with empathy. Izuku's tears fell down his eyes, strained sobs pouring out of his throat.

He felt his dead heart cringe in pain, he cried as he placed his hand onto his chest, clutching his clothes in an attempt to stop the pain, he looked down, trying to stop himself from crying.

He remembered all the painful words that was said to him when he was still alive, all the words coming back and stabbing him in the back.

'You can never be a hero.'

'You will never be a hero, Deku!'

'Someone as useless as you will never be a hero!'

'It's not gonna happen, kid.'

'I'm sorry Izuku, I'm sorry.'

Then, he remembered the little girls words.

'You will become a hero.'

Those few words from a complete stranger who was about to bring his soul back to earth put so much impact on him, and although he was already dead, a small light of life on his eyes finally came back.

"Stop crying, boy." She said "I apologize for not being able to say much, although honestly I said more than what should have been said so the fates will surely kick my ass after this," She shuddered at the thought "But I hope what I said will convince you."

"I can't say anymore because it will cause more complications in the future, but please trust me." She said, looking at him "Please, come back to earth and do your purpose."

"I cannot perform the ceremony unless you accept this blessing," She stated "You should really think of this as an honor, you are the second human who was offered this opportunity."

Izuku was silent at first. If he does this, there was no turning back, it's like his suicide was in vain. However, if what the girl said really was true, then is it worth living for again?

He decided to take the risk "....Okay."

The girl grinned, for the first time he saw her outside a scowling expression "Good, then."

"Give me some digits, Izuku."

Izuku blinked "D-digits..? What?" The girl giggled, making the freckled teen shudder at her sudden change of attitude "Give some numbers, Izuku!"

"A-any number?" Izuku asked, confused "Yup!"

"A-ah.. Uhm, 365?" Izuku said, as if it were a question "Well, that's oddly specific." The little girl raised a brow "I-I was under pressure!"

"Under plot pressure." She winked "Anyways, good job! Now, give me a month!" She grinned.

Izuku suddenly remembered his childhood friend "April."

"No hesitation!" She grinned "I like that! Choosing your crush's birthmonth eh?"

Izuku went beet red "N-no! I-It's n-not like t-that--"

"Now give me a time," She smiled, looking at him "Uhm.. 12 am?"

Izuku felt nervous, he assumed these were extremely important questions but it was regarded to him as if it were some sort of game.

The girl smiled once more "Good boy, now then." Izuku felt the ground shook, he saw the lady close her eyes, and suddenly she began to rise up to the air.

The dust from the ground floated towards her, circling around her figure as the suit she was wearing before was now changed into a long, black cloak. A scythe appeared on her hand, her hair started flowing everywhere anf her eyes shone gold.

'She really is a grim reaper.'

She pointed the deadly weapon towards him "Izuku Midoriya."

"Y-yes!" Izuku managed to squeak out in fear and nervousness.

"In the name of the fates, the gods, I, Kira, guider of souls, courier of judgements, shall bestow upon you this blessing to give you a chance to bring back the life you gave away, and fulfill your purpose." The ground shook more, and more dust began surrounding the little girl who was named Kira.

“Το μονοπάτι είναι σκληρό και μοναχικό και δεν υπάρχει κανένα τέλος στο θέαμα.”

Izuku widened his eyes in confusion, for he did not understand a single word she just said. The ground then stop shaking, and Kira gracefully fell back down "W-what just happened..?"

Kira did not utter a word, she walked towards Izuku, who started walking back in fear, but he tripped and fell down, his bum hitting the cold hard floor, hard.

Kira raised her scythe infront of him, and Izuku instinctively cowered down in fear as she swung the deadly blade towards him.

'I'M G-GONNA D-DIE! A-AGAIN!'

The freckled teen waited for the pain, but it never came. Hesitantly, he looked up, seeing that Kira had stopped midway, she slowly lowered her blade to his shoulder, making Izuku flinched at the sudden contact.

"Eihwaz."

Izuku blinked 'E-eihw-what?' he saw her pulling her scythe back, a satisfied smile on her face "This will hurt a bit."

"What do you mea-"

Izuku let out a bloodcurling scream. Tears poured out fron his eyes as he frantically patted his shoulder, trying to eradicate the burning feeling on it. He felt as if it were bleeding, as if multiple explosions were being thrown at his shoulder, as if it were being stabbed repeatedly, as if someone was trying to remove it from his body-

He screamed again, the pain was gradually worsening, more tears fell down his eyes and eventually his screaming became strained because his throat was drying out, but the pain did not stop.

It felt like forever before the pain went away, but in reality- The pain was only there for atleast three minutes or less, to Izuku- the pain he felt was worse than what it felt when he died. He couldn't even bear to look at his shoulder, but curiousity got ahold of him so he looked.

Izuku couldn't believe his eyes. There, on his shoulder was some sort of mark, a tattoo of some sort, but he didn't know what it was "W-what...w-what is this.."

"Listen carefully, Izuku." Kira said seriously, offerring her hand to him, which Izuku hesitantly accepted "We are merely letting you borrow your life again, so this doesn't mean we'll let you live the same way as before."

"W-what..? I-I don't understand.. Y-you said-"

"I'm not done." She glared at him, making him silent "Even if we did wanted to grant you the life you had before, we can't." She said "You have to prove that you are worthy of this blessing,"

"B-but.. But how?" Izuku asked, his voice strained "You have to fulfill a mission before you can call the life you lost your own again."

"Keep in mind that we won't give you a mission you can't do, but it will be hard." She said seriously "There will be a deadline, and you must complete it before then."

"The life we are letting you borrow isn't yours yet, but it will be in the future. So as we let you wander again through earth," She gulped "There will be some things you need to know."

"The first one is that you cannot die," She said "You cannot feel pain," Dhe continued "Even if you get stabbed, poisoned, your body won't feel any physical pain, yet."

"Second, you will go back to earth with your heart and mind, but your soul belongs to us, so it will feel empty."

"Third, we are not forbidding you to not tell people about your condition, a seal won't let them tell others anyway, but if you do decide to tell them, it will be a hard path for you."

"Fourth, there will be people after you." She said "So you better be careful, this might be a blessing, but it will be a curse if you don't handle it properly," She the raised her scythe, and suddenly- it poofed into a black circle. She grabbed Izuku's hand and placed it on his wrist, and there it stuck onto his skin, forming a ball-like mark.

"Once your back on earth, your body will emit a powerful but dangerous magical energy only a few can detect, and those will be the ones who will chase after you." She continued "When the time comes, when those people come after you, use this to fight against them, since your quirk won't be enough."

Izuku looked confused "But I don't have a quir-"

"Just trust me, Izuku." Kira stared at him with worried eyes "I want you to train yourself with my weapon, master it. I won't always be here for you, remember that."

"Lastly," Kira held his shoulders "This is important, Izuku. So listen carefully."

"Whenever you get hurt back on earth, you won't be able to feel it, yet." She explained "But once you reach your deadline and your mission was far from finished," She stopped for a moment.

"All the pain you were supposed to feel will all come rushing towards you at that deadline, so under all circumstances- You must finish this mission." Izuku was frozen in place, He couldn't say anything, all the information was too much to process.

"When you reach the deadline without completing your mission, you will die again in the same way you died before, but this time- it will be doubled, not to mention the pain you were supposed to feel when you were hurt," Kira backed away from him

"If you fail, and die again, the consequences will be more severe." She stated "You will forever walk through the flames of tartarus, where demons will torment you for eternity, where the path is hard and lonely, no end in sight."

"Do you understand?"

"O-oh my God.." That was all Izuku managed to choke out as heavy tears fell down his eyes "T-this is too much.."

"This is your doing, boy." She frowned "I don't like this either, but this is the only way."

"Now, then." She raised her hands towards him.

"Someday on April, that mark will reappear on your shoulder, on that day, your mission will begin, and will end on the exact same date." She said.

"A Mission that begins someday on April and will end at 12 am after 365 days, the exact same date when the mark appears, a year later."

Izuku felt his mouth run dry 'Oh, so that was the purpose of those questions. I should've made the number larger-'

"Izuku Midoriya," Kira boomed "In the span of those 365 days we've given you, you must make the person you care about return those feelings as well."

Izuku froze, his eyes widening in disbelief, his knees dropping onto the ground as he tried to process what he just heard "W-what?"

"April, 365 days, 12 am." Kira stated "You must make Katsuki Bakugo fall inlove with you before then."

I FINALLY FINISHED THIS CHAPTER! I hope you guys read all of it cause' the information here are very important to this story.

Anyways, about the art I placed in this story- THAT WASN'T FINISHED YET! BUT I LOST THE FILE!

I know I suck, so I had to use that. The backround sucked cause it wasn't finished yet but I lost the file and that was all I had with a backround so sorry!

Here it is without the background, that was my first time drawing Izuku and so I know it sucks, not to mention I haven't been practicing much as well.

The future artworks shown on this book will be better though, so stay tuned!

Also, for those who read TWBE, Kira is in this book as well! (So expect the fourth wall breaki- KIDDING) She is one of the three important OC's

By the way, if you all are confused about Eihwaz and what Kira said in that other language, you will find out soon.

If you guys are confused about the "Izuku not being able to feel pain yet" part, let me explain.

In this story, when Izuku comes back to earth, he isn't fully human. He has no soul, he cannot die nor feel pain yet.

When he reaches the deadline, he will become human again- So he will be able to feel ALL the pain he didn't get to feel when he was not human (this will only happen if he fails the mission)

When he fails, the mark on his shoulder will automatically bring him to the building where he died before and once the clock hits 12, he will jump, and as he falls he will become human again and feel all the pain he didn't get to feel, and then die when he falls.

So it's gonna be something like that lol.

Anways, starting now- the fluff, drama and other real Katsudeku stuff will begin, so I hope you guys enjoy!

Now, putting the story aside... I FINALLY CAUGHT UP WITH THE MANGA!

(Manga spoilers ahead, you have been warned!)

Just wanna point out Endeavor's amazing character development. I really hated him at the beginning but seeing him now, my hate for him is decreasing a bit. Although his change won't make up for the shit he's done in the past, it's a great start.

Also loving the fact that Shinso was being trained by Aizawa and is given a chance to be transferred at the hero course. He deserved to be in the hero course honestly, can't wait to see more of his character.

I really hope he gets transferred though, really. I love his character so much and his backstory was too good for him to be just a side character.

And you just gotta appreciate how far Bakugo has gone guys, he and Izuku are now proper rivals and he's just getting better and better at everything by his own, he's amazing.

Katsuki has gone from "I DON'T NEED ANYONE TO WIN THIS SHIT" to "IF IM IN TROUBLE YOU GOTTS SAVE ME" And fuck if that wasn't good, consistent character growth I don't know what is.

Even Monoma and the others were shocked at his sudden change of character, sure Bakugo may be a bitch sometimes but he is such an amazing person in his own way and that is why I love him so much.

Now, to the biggest jawdropping motherfucker that happened during the test.

IZUKU WILL WIELD SIX MORE QUIRKS AND IF THAT ISN'T FUCKING EPIC IDK WHAT IS.

HE IS GONNA BE SO OP AND PROBS THE MOST POWERFUL HOLDER OF ONE FOR ALL AND THAT SCARES AND EXCITES ME AT THE SAME TIME

I JUST HOPE BAKUGO DOESNT TAKES THIS THE WRONG WAY AND BRING BACK THAT UNHEALTHY RIVALRY BETWEEN THEM

THIS IS NEXT LEVEL PLUS ULTRA GUYS, I LITERALLY CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER I NEED IT.
