The beginning of the end.

"Who's fighting him?" A boy mumbled excitedly, a grin plastered on his face. He watched as a huge man went rampage, apparantly- the so called 'Monster' went on rampage with his quirk after getting cornered when he was caught stealing a purse. Amateur move, honestly.

"Illegal use of abilities during rush hour, as well as robbery and assault?" The hero exclaimed as he glared at the villain "You're pure evil."

The crowd cheered "I-it's Kamui Woods!" The boy exclaimed as he opened his notebook, taking down notes, a bystander even complimented him about it.

"Your punishment," The hero, Kamui took a step back. His arms started growing as he swung it towards the villain "Lacquered chain prison!"

"Canyon Cannon!"

Before Kamui's special attack could even reach him, a giant girl swooped in and kicked him in the jaw, rendering Kamui and the crowd speechless.

"Pleased to meet you all! You can call me Mt. Lady," She smiled, her hypnotizing voice stealing all the attention away from Kamui and to her "Today's my debut."

The media started muttering "It's her" simultaneously, taking pictures as they neared her, she wore a smile as she waved victoriously to the crowd, a defeated Kamui in the backround.

The boy continued to write notes, and the bystander from before noticed this and grinned at him "Taking notes? I guess you want to be a hero yourself, kid." The bystander said "Goodluck!"

The boy beamed, the smile plastered on his fave growing larger as he closed his notebook "Thanks! I-I'll try!"

That boy is Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of our story. A quirkless young 14 year old with hopes of becoming the greatest hero of all time, inspired by a certain symbol of peace, he dreams to be a hero everyone can look up to, a hero that eradicates the fear in everyone's hearts with a single smile.

That was him, that was Izuku Midoriya, and this is his story, the story of how he overcomes the obstacles life throws at him, the story of how he found true love, and the story of how he died.

And how he became the greatest hero of all time.

"You guys are all third years now!" The teacher yelled as he grabbed a pile of papers from his desk "It's time to start seriously thinking about your futures."

"I would hand out these future career forms, but.." Their teacher grinned and threw away the forms "To heck with it, I know you all want to be heroes!"

Their classroom roared in excitement, each showing off their quirks as they cheered "I know you all have wonderful quirks, but it's not allowed to use them at schoo-"

"Sensei! Don't lump me in with these losers," An arrogant voice called out, silencing the classroom "As if I had anything like their crappy quirks."

That was Katsuki Bakugo, our main protagonist's childhood friend. Izuku looked at him, still trying his best not to stand out, even though he won't stand out either way. Izuku stared at him, a light pink tinted on his cheeks.

Although his childhood friend has been nothing but a bully to him, he couldn't help but develop some feelings for the said boy as time passed.

At first, it was just idolization, then to admiration, until he was full on head over heels for him as the year started.

Izuku knew that he should hate the blondie, but he couldn't help himself, his heart yearned for him, and although he was an arrogant little bitch, he was a hot one as well.

"Just get over yourself Katsuki!" A classmate yelled, annoying him even more "SHUT UP! Extras should act like extras!"

"Ah, Bakugo.." His teacher mumbled "You must be aiming for U.A High school."

Their classroom started chattering amongst each other "That national school?!"

"The cutoff score this year is 79 right?"

"I hear they barely accept anyone!"

"AH! The stupid chattering of the extras," Katsuki yelled as he stood on his desk "I aced the mock exam! I'm the only one here who has the shit to get to U.A!"

"I'll even surpass All might and become the best hero out there!" He roared "Not to mention I'll be one of the richest people in the world!"

"Oh,"

"You're also going for U.A, aren't you Midoriya?"

'Fuck.' Midoriya thought hastily, the work he had gone through to not stand out was all in vain, he buried himself onto his desk, trying to cover himself with his arms.

It was silent for a moment, making his anxiety grow larger, then- They laughed.

Mocking laughter echoed around the room, his ears could only hear the laughter and insults his classmates were throwing at him, this resulted to his anxiety going over the bounds, he started panting, his heartbeat beating so fast he couldn't even keep up.

The teacher didn't seem to notice, his classmates as well. But Katsuki saw how much he struggled, he saw how much he suffered, and as much as he wanted to hurt him here and there, he wasn't cruel enough to beat someone up in the middle of an anxiety attack.

"Oi, that's enough." Katsuki slammed his fist on his desk, tiny sparks appearing, making the whole classroom silent "Sensei, I'm taking Deku outside for a bit, the useless piece of shit is having an attack, I'll calm him down."

They all were surprised by his sudden declaration, but before anyone could even process what he just said, Katsuki was already dragging Izuku by the hem of his sleeve out of the room and out of the building.

It's not that Katsuki was worried about the boy, he did- A little, but he wouldn't admit it. He just wanted some time alone with Izuku and then scare the heck out of him.

Izuku was still panting "Oi, calm down ya' shit," He said, rubbing circles onto his back "Breathe,"

Izuku took his advice, and then after a what seemed like forever, he finally calmed down "T-thanks K-kacchan.."

"Don't get the wrong idea, Deku." He hissed, venom laced on his voice, making the small boy flinch. Katsuki walked towards him, Izuku backing away until he was eventually cornered on a wall "You're still a fucking disgrace,"

Katsuki clicked his tongue "Forget the crappy quirks, you're totally quirkless! And you think you can rub shoulders with me!?"

Izuku was horrified "N-no! I-I wasn't trying to compete with you Kaccha-"

"BULLSHIT!" Katsuki screamed as he punched the wall besides him with his activated quirk, leaving a huge whole on the wall and a few cuts and dirt on Izuku's cheek "I-I-"

"Forget about taking the exams on U.A, I'm warning you Deku." Katsuki glared at him "You're nothing but a useless piece of crap, you don't belong here."

"Kaccha-"

"SHUT UP! BUGS LIKE YOU SHOULDN'T TALK BACK TO THOSE WHO ARE SUPERIOR!" Katsuki yelled at him, making Izuku tremble "You'll never be a hero, Deku."

Izuku held back the tears, trying to ignore the pain caused by his words, but his last statement hit him, hard. And he wanted nothing more than to curl up into a ball and cry his eyes out.

Katsuki then brought out a notebook, at first- Izuku was confused on what it was but then he realized that it was his notebook "H-hey! G-give that ba-"

Katsuki burned it "aaAAHH-"

Izuku's scream was cut off when a fist met his cheek, making him fall onto the ground, when he looked up, his burnt notebook was thrown to his face. Other than it was im bad shapd, it was still readable.

Katsuki smirked as he brought out his phone and took a picture of him "Pathetic, you should stay there Deku, that's were you belong."

Izuku looked down, not wanting his childhood friend to see his already tear-stained face. Katsuki started walking away, but then he stopped.

"You know if you really want to be a hero then there is another way," Katsuki said as he looked back "Just pray you'll get a quirk on your next life and take a swan dive off the roof!"

Izuku froze, his heart cringing in pain, Katsuki laughed, walking away with a satisfied smirk, leaving the poor boy on the floor all alone.

"You're cruel, Kacchan."

When I was a child, there was this video I used to watch. It was an old clip, there was a disaster a while back, but in the aftermath, a certain hero made his debut.

That hero was All might, the symbol of peace, the number one hero of all time. I wanted to be just like him, I wanted to be as amazing as he was.

"I am Here!" Those words, I loved those words with all my heart, but that wasn't what I wante-No, needed to hear.

And as much as I wanted to be the one who says those words as well, As much as I wanted to be as amazing as he was, I couldn't.

Because people like me stood no place in this world, and I was born quirkless, so everyone already looked down on me before I could've had the chance to rise up.

"I'm sorry Izuku... I'm sorry.." Those words, those words from my mom were enough to crush my heart, my dreams, but still- I went on, but why?

I honestly don't know myself.

My thoughts were disrupted "A medium sized body...to hide in.."

'A Villain?' Before I could even get the chance to turn around, I was suffocated by a liquid coming through my mouth. I was trapped, I felt like I was stuck in a small box with no air at all, I desperately tried to scoop out the liquid from my mouth, but no avail, it just kept on reforming.

I was choking, and it felt utterly disguting. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move, I was helpless. I felt the cold sludge forcing it's way down my throat, tears fell down my eyes as I slowly lose breath.

'Is this it? Was I gonna die here?' I thought hopelessly, slowly losing consciousness 'Is this fates cruel way in telling me to finally rest?' I felt the sludge villain shake, if that was even possible, or maybe it just me halllucinating things. Then I could have sworn ir moved to another direction, but I couldn't see what was going on, much less to care.

'Was I born with only the sole purpose to be a vessel for this creature?' I thought 'Is that all i'm here for?' I continued thinking as I felt a huge rush of wind pass towards me, blowing the creature away from my body as I felt a strong hand grip my collar.

'Is this all I am?'

Was my last thought before losing consciousness, a pair of what I assumed was yellow bunny ears the last thing I sas before I was swallowed up in the darkness.

I felt continous gentle slaps on my face "Hey, Hey kid!"

I slowly opened my eyes, my vision blurry, I couldn't make out what I was seeing, but when I did, I let out a scream.

'N-no way! This man infront of me, it's...!'

"A-ALL MIGHT!?"

"Ah! Yes! I am Here! In the flesh!" He said with his signature grin "You're good? Right? Excellent! Thank Goodness,"

He placed his hand on his head, looking away "Apologies for getting you caught up with that villain hunt,"

"Mistakes like that aren't really my style but," He paused for a moment "This is a strange land to me! And besides, I'm off camera!"

"But my success is all thanks to you-" He grinned wider, if possible- Then showed me the sludge villain that was painfully compressed in a bottle "That I've contained the villain!"

I gaped at him, a huge smile etched across my face 'Here's here, he was actually here.' I couldn't believe what I was seeing, then I pulled myself out a bit from the state of shock, trying to find my notebook "O-Oh! An a-autograph!" I mumble as I try to find my notebook "Where is it-H-here!"

I opened my notebook and screamed "WAHH HE ALREADY DID IT!" I quickly stood up, bowing to him for God knows how much "WOWW! Thank you so much! What a treausure! I-it'll be a family heirloom!"

"Now I must bring this fellow to the authorities," All might said as he walked away "You can catch me again on TV!"

"W-wait.. You're leaving already?" I asked, frowning. He couldn't just leave yet, this was my chance finally get the answers to my questions!

"A pro not on battles enemies but time as well," All might said as he stretched his knees, bracing himself "Until next time,"

"W-wait.." I mumbled, reaching out to him hesitantly, I still have so much to ask, he couldn't leave yet...

'I...'

"THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!"

I know this chapter wasn't much. The Katsudeku madness won't happen yet but it will soon, after 1 or 2 chapters or so. So please bear with me!

I'm just writing what happened in the manga with a few changes here and there, I even copied most of what they said in the manga here.

I was experimenting on a different writing style in this chapter so to those of you old readers who happens to be reading this book, can you notice the difference?

I wrote this while we were checking the examination papers and item analysis, so it was kinda crappy but I tried my best.

I'll edit all the chapters once I finished the whole book, so I hope you like what you're reading so far.

This chapter was boring since I didn't really put any comedy relief or some new plot yet, it's just like another prologue but I enjoyed writing it! Experimenting on the way I write is fun!

Anyways, stay tuned for the next chapter! I'll try to make it longer than this one, so sorry if this was short!
