"Jungkook!" Minwoo gasps "..what are you doing here?"

"H-hyung..." Jungkook's voice breaks, Minwoo immediately drops his gardening tools to pull the younger into a comforting hug before sitting him down on the steps of his house

Lee Minwoo was Jungkook's senior in college and one of the few people who had a special place in Jungkook's heart. He was someone Jungkook looked up to and the senior was more than welcoming of the friendship seeing the younger's dedicative passion. Jungkook was shy and an introvert but the senior somehow made the younger comfortable, had become fast friends and they maintained their friendship years after college. The senior was always available to give Jungkook advice without judgement and right now Jungkook needed that more than anything

Minwoo watched the young man carefully - it was obvious that he was breaking down

"Jungkook..." Minwoo pats Jungkook's back "...Tell me what's wrong."

The younger flashed him a sad smile "I'm calling off the wedding."

Minwoo looks surprised "That's... Unexpected. Did something happen?"

"It just didn't work out...." It was painful to say that "I don't know how to tell my hyung..."

Minwoo soothed a hand down the younger's back "Don't worry about your hyung, Jungkook. For once, don't worry about anyone but you." He pulled back to look at the younger with concern evident in his eyes

Jungkook shook his head "You don't understand. We did everything because I couldn't let my family down...They wanted me to... after Yugyeom...."

"But Jungkook, what do you want?" Minwoo interrupts him

He was silent for a long time - What did he want? His hyung to be proud of him, his friends to be happy. But that's not what Minwoo meant - What did he want? "Jimin. I want to be with him, but..."

"But nothing.You're allowed to want things. Maybe you should sit down with him and tell him."

"What if I lose him for good?" Jungkook whispers

"What if you don't?"

"It's not that easy." Jungkook insisted. "He doesn't know. It's not what we agreed on. He thinks... He's my best friend. I can't lose him."

"... There are some people in this world who can make you spend the rest of your life wishing you held on tighter. Don't let those people go..." Minwoo's smile was bittersweet "....Wanting to be loved isn't selfish...." Minwoo pats his arm "You're allowed to be happy."

Jungkook twists the ring on his finger anxiously - it would be easier to pretend nothing happened between Jimin and him but the smaller had kissed him, jerked him off and whispered the promise that he had always wanted to hear and there was no going back now. He  looked forward to going home every night and falling asleep with Jimin wrapped around him. He didn't want to give that up now

Realizing that, Jungkook hugs the senior immediately "Thank you."

"Any time... I am looking forward to dressing up as batman at the wedding"

Jungkook let out a chuckle "...I'm going to tell him....Wish me luck hyung"

Jungkook was going to risk everything and tell his best friend he loved him and he only hoped Jimin wouldn't hate him
