"Oof!" I exclaimed, jerking upright.

The cat on my chest fell into my lap, mewling. "Well, don't jump on me while I'm sleeping." I said, narrowing my eyes at the protesting kitten.

Plagg slowly lifted his head, staring up at me with utmost sincerity. I groaned, nearly falling victim to the innocent eyes that dominated his face. I grabbed the kitten and placed him (not-so) gently on the floor. He skittered off, exploring places that I'd never see.

Scooting back, I sat against my headboard, reaching for my phone. I had an absurd amount of texts in my inbox, wishing me a Merry Christmas. I had only made it through a small fraction of the messages before dropping the phone back on my nightstand. 

I reached into the drawer for my other phone, spotting one text from Ladybug, bidding me a good morning. It must be late if Ladybug is up before me... I thought, finally glancing to the time. It was 11:37, hours after the time I usually awoke.

Groggily, I got dressed and went for breakfast, expecting disappointed faces when I entered the dining hall. Instead, there sat our chef, waiting patiently. "I'm so sorry, my alarms-"

"It is not a problem, Monsieur Agreste!" He exclaimed, gesturing before turning away to get my meal.

How peculiar.

The challenge committee declared that there were no more challenges until December thirty-first. Ladybug and I still met up, walking around and talking. I noticed, with ample satisfaction, the Ladybug still wore the studs I'd gotten her.

On the twenty-eighth, Ladybug and I decided not to meet up until the thirty-first. My schedule was suddenly full with a photo shoot and several meetings with my runway coach.

Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep.
