Turkish narrator : hey, so where were we? umm yeah. she was thinking of loosing him. well why would she think let us know.

Mahesh

Maya didn't text me back so i didn't pressure on her. her dad might have felt bad. and my dad was happy me being touchy with her and he filled it with my mom also. my mom wants to meet Maya now what do i do?

Today we are suppose to meet at 12 before the press meet. i texted her the address and she texted back saying ok.

I'm waiting in my office it's 12pm. my PA walked in. "Sir your friend came?". "send him in". Jathin walked in." "Dude how is it going?"

"Nothing is going everything seems like come to an end Jathin" i don't no how to control this rage. she is not replying.

"What happened?" he narrowed his eyes. "Nothing we have press meet now go be ready?" he nodded.

"And Maya?" Jathin turned after reaching to door knob. "She is on the way" he nodded and left. again a knock on my door. "Sir Miss Maya is waiting?"

"Send her" she nodded. Maya walked in. royal blue silk jumpsuit. pearl necklace. pearl earing. and nude lipstick. she looks very beautiful.

"This is the speech have look once" saying she sat on the couch. i walked and sat on the couch next to her. and held her hands in mine. "Maya don't be afraid. you will do fine. I trust you". her face seems red to me. and i can sense she is comfortable around me. not hesitating while I touch.

"I still doubt? because this is my second book? and i never happened to go to any press meet?. she blabbering in fear.

Maya

He pressed his palm on my lips. "Maya you'll do fine i know that" i nodded. "Have this" he handed me a glass of water. he walked to his place. this black suit. no tie. and this smell.

"This seems real Maya" he motioned me to sit in front of him. now I can sit I feel calmer when I'm with him. i sat opposite to him. "you think it's nice?" asking i took glance at him.

Mahesh

"Yeah, I mean you write well but this different than what people talk, so yes it's good" I nodded.  "and why didn't you text back? I was worried Maya?" she was looking all around the room but at me. again something is wrong I assume. I held her hands in mine but she pulled it back.

"Maya something happened?" she nodded. "What happened?".

"We need to talk after this conference?" I'm beyond shocked what might have happened.?

"Fine we will. but you don't worry, you will do fine i know". and it was already time. so we walked to the conference room. in the elevator she neared me. "Mahesh" and she leaned a little. i didn't say anything and we came to stop and walked out.

"Maya" calling her name i turned back and she was talking to one of the guy? so i walked back.

"Maya" she turned to look at me. "who is he" i took glance at that guy also.

"Mahesh he was in my collage" saying she took his number it seems and walked past me. "Mahesh come we are getting late?" i walked in. we met Jathin.

Maya

Jathin was standing when we made it in. "oh hi, see you will be very famous after this meet Maya?" saying he gave me a paper and pen. i raised my eyebrows. asking what.

"A contract that you won't insult me in front of press?" i can sense his so called dirty laugh. i took glance at Mahesh before talking to Jathin.

"Jathin me and Mahesh have planned a insult hour for you. so not in front of camera well."

"What the hell, this duffer accepts relishing someone with me and insults me in front of you?" he seems little upset.

"No sorry i mean to say, i was just messing with you" i shrugged my shoulders.

"I know my friend Maya?" he smiled. and what did he say Mahesh likes someone. "Jathin who does he like?" i'm very curious to know? who is that?.

"Well it's not my place to say? and after this drama we should have out time Maya?" i nodded. and Mahesh called us to sit.

Mahesh

We sat in front of camera but Maya was fidgeting with her hands. i looked at her and she sat straight. so the reporter started questioning her. i sat left to her and held her hand. she started answering him. it lasted about 2 minutes she pulled her hand back and she was fine. she seems confident talking to reporter.

And it went on. she did it fine. at last she gave a little speech and it was over. "it was good i thought it would be demanding?" talking to me she got up and walked to Jathin. i passed to have a talk with reporter.

"Can we have coffee please?" i heard her from behind. i turned to have a glance. the same guy from the elevator! i turned to Jathin he walked to me. "what's wrong?" i nodded my head towards them and my friend understood me. we both passed past Maya not looking at her,

"Maya we are discussing an important thing about the book" i asked Jathin to text Maya and he did. think we got reply also in 2 seconds.  "I'm coming in 5 minutes" wow i wasn't expecting this fast reply. we sat in my cabin. 

"Dude really, you know how Maya acts when the situation is not in her control? so she might have acted that way i think." my friend seems to have known more about Maya than me, when i told him about the restaurant situation, he said this. i just nodded. because i have been through the same situation twice. with doctor also she did this and now it's height. i mean her father was expecting something from us by his gaze i get that. even my dad was staring at us. ya anyone would do that when we hold hands and all.

exactly after 5 minutes she walked in. "yes what is it Jathin?" asking she sat opposite to me. but Jathin got up. 

"You two can discuss and we will have party tomorrow" saying he walked out looking at me.

"I hope he is fine?" she took glass of water on my table and drank it. "tell me what is that important?" she raised her.

"I need you to meet a new writer, listen to her story and get me to understand that, so i could proceed with that or not?" she seems not listening to me. but her gape of jaws were explained otherwise. "Maya" i called her name but.

"Uhh, ya, ya, is this was that important Mahesh?" that gaze was explaining so much. i nodded anyway. 

"Fine if this is very important then I'll do it, but you'll be the publisher then you should also know that on what it is? don't you think?" asking she leaned on table. holding her both hands together.

"It's fine if you know?, and i want you to be my assistant only in these region, where we could have suggestion in hearing stories?" she was not talking but there was excitement in her eyes.  

"Hmm, these seems like job offer to me?" asking she walked to couch and i followed her. we sat. "and I'm not interested Mahesh" this was very straight on my face, well i know Maya so no offence at all.

"Maya just think once, i won't take much time of your's?" 

Maya

How could someone offer a job directly? and that to with Mahesh i would never work. the whole talking was very serious and his focus was on me. just to make him happy i nodded my head. even i don't understand why do i do that with him.

"Fine I'll think about it then" his mouth was in O shape and his eyes were wide open. "what?" i asked and he didn't reply.

"Who was that back then?" i narrowed my eyes asking.

"O, that guy, i told you back then t self didn't i?" i narrowed my eyes. he got up and went to his chair.

"Maya we need to talk?" i followed him.

"About? from the morning you have been saying this?" what might it be. he seems serious.

"What was that act you pulled in front of my dad?" ohh this was the thing. ok Maya easy he will understand you can talk to him. i took deep breath and.

"I just wanted my dad to leave me alone, that new guy was very irritating, at the time i saw you and i forgot everything! what i use to do before like running or hiding."

Mahesh

She is to childlike, she didn't stop her bickering, and her eyes were closed. i walked to her and sat on the chair opposite. i caressed on her cheeks. and she opened her eyes and someone opened my cabin door to? we both turned our heads.

"What are you doing here?" asking i passed to door. and Reenu turned her head towards Maya.

"Well i was here so i just came to see you?" she hugged me. Reenu and me were classmates.

looking at us Maya came to me. "i think, i should be going?" i nodded. she walked past me.

"Ohoo, who is she? she looks little sad because my presence it seems?" Reenu said looking at Maya.

"Is it, did you sense something?" i asked her and we sat.

"Yeah, of course I'm woman you know and i can assure that she wasjealous."

"Jealous you say?" she hummed in response. " you know what it's good that you came. at least now Maya might understand?"

"OH, she is Maya then?"

"Yes, and tell me how's your time? work?" it went on for about 30 minutes and she went biding bye. and i checked my phone. i didn't see it from 1 hour.

"Who was she?" i didn't expect this from Maya. was she really jealous then? well i don't want to reply. i think having good conversation about this with Jathin will help me. i texted him.

Maya

Who was she, all of sudden she entered hugging him? something is not good about this. he was about to talk to me! he had been nagging me saying 'we need to talk, talk?' but when he saw her he let me go. i sometime say i don't expect anything from anyone but with him?. who she is? and they were very close to. Jathin might know everything. i just texted Mahesh asking who is she? guess? he didn't even text me back, it's been 4 hours from then.

"You wanna know who was she? hugging my friend in office?" Jathin texted this. and i sent yes. of course i need to know who is she and what was that closeness about.

"Where and when?" in 2 minutes he replied me saying my place in 1 hour. so i'll wait for him.

someone knocked on my door. "Mam that new guy for job will join from tomorrow" informing Jeremy went away. and exactly 1 hour Jathin came in.

"Uff, it's a long way" i nodded to him and he sat. "so my dear Maya what's bothering you?". i narrowed my eyes.

"You are the one told me will talk about that girl? now why are you asking me ahh?" i shrugged my shoulders. 

"Well yeah, i forgot on the way why  i drove here? what do you think for i came Maya?" he raised and lowered his eyebrow's.

"Jathin please no games, tell me who is she? and why were they both so close? is she his?" i didn't even complete the sentence. he hollered.

"Stop right there, she is nothing to him. when he was in college he was her crush and he don't know that, she came to just have look at him. whenever she visits India she meets him" i nodded hearing all this.

"But it seems they are very close don't you think?" I bent a little making my look curious.

"No way, he is not close with anyone other than me, does he?" for a second i thought he got doubt. but for my good he didn't and our conversation went on. and our chef prepared our dinner.

"Maya he was not this Mahesh before meeting you?" I raised my head from my pasta.

Wiping "what do you mean?" I asked.

"I mean, he was normal to everyone, he was not this cheerful with people, but now when ever I see him meeting you he is different. and the place what you had seen in Paris even I don't know where is that place. it's his secret place." blandishing everything he had his dinner. I had been thinking all the way about the conversation. why I'm having this talk? why do I show so much interest on him? or whom he is meeting? talking?.

"O, hello" Jathin waved his hand in front of me. "I  have something to ask you? can i?" again he made that his kind of face. i nodded. "I'm sure you like him!"

"What the, no way" i just got up and sat again. "no Jathin out of nowhere you can't say that, it's very big charge?"

"I know how big and Maya I'm done with you two, so let me go bye" he just left and I got into thinking. i should really talk to Mahesh of Jathin talking about like and all. i never liked anyone. how could he say those words.

"We need to talk?" I texted.

Mahesh

I knew this text would come anytime soon. my friend is capable of everything! he told before he would make her talk but I didn't knew he would make it this soon.

"Sure, place?" I texted back. so this is what happens? when she accepts and i won't accept. and this will go on, but i want it to end that to in a good way. but I'm sure i just don't like her and? i want to know what she has in her mind. well she is good with me! but i have something to tell her. i just can't take it any longer now, when her dad is looking for a guy.
