Maya 

Yesterday's dinner was really regrettable , i would have not agreed with that Question queen. ok you can rate me i'm over thinking but still. she called me 5 times to just notify about the dress color and it has to be revealing. i thought for a sec did i took wrong welcome from her about dinner, what she wanted to prove i did not understood at first but when i reached there i get it. 

it was disco and that's the reason she wanted me to wear revealing clothes. but i called her again to ask that we were about to have dinner? but she didn't respond to my calls, i made it to inside but i couldn't find her?

then again i got notification from "don't go in until i reach there? it was him. but i was inside.

i called her again and she received and she was in revealing clothes, wow she was too hot. i mean in my language it wasn't necessary to wear those instead she would have come in bikini ehee ehee.

 i asked her why did she change the plans of dinner but she was so tipsy and she dragged me to someone might be her friend i hoped but?

he had fork in his hands, i shacked  hands with him and greeted, he spied me top to bottom i was in wide leg jeans and half shoulder black top. she went away leaving me there alone, after that what he did was very repulsive.

he took his fork and went behind Anna so i followed him, he was about kill her with fork so i stood between him and Anna. then he took my left hand and i can't explain much. then Mahesh entered in and spoke to Anna i don't no what? then he took me to doctor and my hand is not in good state to even type something on phone, i just want to meet that guy and ask why did he stabbed my hand with fork?

then wow in present someone is banging on my door so opened, and it's Raff.

"Maya how are you? why did you even go there? you would have asked about that place?"  he was to tensed and came near me, examined my hand then he sat on the bed.

"Raff it's fine now, i went because of official dinner but i didn't knew about that place" i said.

"it's not fine, who the hell asked you to go there? tell me who is that?" irritated he said this and took out breakfast from his bag.

i started eating without answering him. "hmm Raff I'm going back on Thursday?

"Yeah fine," saying so he lowered his head. i know he is sad and i didn't even spend quality time with him. so from Tuesday I'll be with him only.

"i know it's to early but i promise coming in mid year? so see my face?" i said. then he raised his head and hugged me tight. i know he will miss me more.

"ok, i know it's difficult but you will be with me until you leave the city?" he is way to emotional than me. he couldn't control so 2 drops of his tears fell on my wound.

"Raff it's ok, I'm fine, take it easy my boy" i palmed his head then he stood straight and said  "wasn't that publisher was present there? i asked him to save you whenever you need help."

"ohh, so you asked him to help?" i narrowed my eyes at him and there was another big bang on my door. Raff went and opened but even after 1 minute nobody came in.

"Raff  who's that? should i come? he shouted no it's the publisher to see you?" ohh and i didn't even thank him yesterday he had helped me so many times.

he came to my view, he is in blue suit, white shirt, and no smirk, he neared me and took my hand in his and started scrutinizing on it, " Maya you did not put water on hand?" i heard his voice from faraway?

uff he is in front of me, what just happened? " Maya where are you? still in yesterday's shock are we?" he asked. i took in his expressions carefully, he looks like had bad sleep, his eyes are reddish, he is vexed then ever i saw, and no smile while talking. and still holding my hand.

i took hold of his hand. "no, no, sorry i was thinking something." i said and saved my dignity little thank god. why was i staring at him like i was in dream. Raff stood behind me and took my things and said "you have some time i will go to washing and comeback".

"how are you Maya? does it pain too much?" still standing beside me, and words couldn't come out of my mouth when he stands so close. i gulped and turned to him. "i'm fine now please have a seat" thank me i managed to say something.

he sat on the chair opposite to me, "why did you enter in? i called you to stay outside until i reach there?" narrowing his eyes, like I'm 5 years kid who isn't agreeing with parents.

I, I, hmm, I'm mumbling, " yes please, do explain why did you disobey me? madam Maya?" he is weird, don't you people think?

"i was in before you called me." he didn't seem to register what i said. he frowned. " i promise i was inside. and she did not tell me that it was night club, and not restaurant to have dinner. it's not my mistake so don't impeach me?" i finished in one go and uplift my head to look at him.

"fine, fine, slow there. i get it's her mistake and you won't see her from now on?" he said gloomy face and stood up. 

did he fire her, no because of me she can't lose her job and it wasn't her mistake either. that guy was the reason all this happened. " no you can't fire her because of me please?"

"no i did not fire her, i gave her some time to recover." i register he is despondent? low voice, and frustrated to even use her name?

"thank you," he gave a tight lip smile and i offered him some of what Raff had brought for me and he accepted.

Mahesh did you find who was that guy? why did he try to kill Anna? he isn't caring to explain when i use her name i realize. 

i made another attempt to talk. " Mahesh did you compline on that fellow?"  he sat beside me, this seems trouble to me. i feel hot all of sudden and his look on me not helping much.

"hmm, what do you want to know? yes police took care of him on the night itself. and i thought Anna had recovered from her old state but sorry she wasn't and fooling me that she is normal." he explained very calmly.

what state? was she not fine? i turned to him registering what he said. and he handed me bunch of medicine which i forgot to take after breakfast. "ohh thank you again."                                         

thank you for saving me yesterday. but you could have reached earlier and how's Anna now? signed and he pinched bridge of his nose " you think i didn't make early to save you? i nodded.

I'm glad she is thanking but still complaining to be earlier is way to adorable. i rushed there when i heard from her that Anna had invited her to that place and me to another.

as soon as i went in there she stood crying and that fellow had stabbed in her wrist and i felt like i lost her, i mean i lost my new book writer so i ran to her she was sobbing and Anna was staring at Maya's hand. i presume she isn't normal so i called my driver to drop her home, i took Maya with me to hospital.

on the way she was still crying " does it, she shut my mouth with her hand. " yes it pains a lot and that employee of yours will get to learn her lesson from me once i get better, and i will kill that guy also."

i took her hand in mine, it's ok we will take of all that tomorrow. now listen to me she looked into my eyes. this isn't big  torment, you had see so much then this Maya so bear  with it 10 more minutes.

she wiped her eyes and said you are right, " this is nothing what i have tormented" she sat silent.

then in 5 minutes we reached hospital and we explained everything to them. they made us walk in and took her in to inspect her had. but she turned to me and i went near " do you want me to come with you" she nodded with child like pout. i couldn't say no..

she sat and stretched her hand to doctor and turned to me again i stood up from my seating position to stand beside her. she took my hand in hers while doctor took out the fork. and for my surprise i thought she would shout but no sound. 

he took injection, she stood up saying give me pills i'll be fine by tomorrow. what she is scared of injections. she took my hand in her hold again. " let's go will take  prescription by the reception" she looks to scared and cute at the same time, her fluffy eyes and that tear stains, " i just want to no, what i'm even thinking of?

Maya if you refuse then i should try other ways, what say hmm? she signed in frustration and said ok. while he was injecting she squeezed my hand. and i felt different being with her, i never accompanied anyone to hospital ever.

and in the morning when i thought no one would be there her friend was present. and good he left us alone. and i had what offered was pancakes. and she finished having her medicine.

Maya your next visit to doctor is tomorrow you remember? she nodded. she won't talk when i'm near to her.

she gulped, what state, what she not fine?  searching answer in my face. i thought she forgot.

she was in rehab before 2 years and i thought when she came out she was fine, but when i see things from last week i had doubt she isn't in right mind. and this happened with you. she was drunk, she had been drinking too much lately but i noticed so i sent her there again for 3 months.

she was listening very carefully i presume, and she will be fine in 3 months then you can meet her?

"i would love to, but why that guy was trying to stab her?" she is so concerned on why that happened.

it's nothing he was drunk so he did what he did? she cross turned her head and "ohh so he is at fault.

yes, i said. she straightened her sitting position and hummed in agreement.

"I'm going home Thursday, so can we finish our work by tomorrow evening?" is she timid of me or the incident happened yesterday. she to swift.

Thursday, then we have four days left right? i asked in confusion.

"ya, but i promised Raff i will be with him for 3 days so." turning to me she folded her hand in front.

ok fine. let me schedule the day for tomorrow so that we could finish. she had bright small smile while nodding, i stood up to leave but she took hold of my hand. i have a feeling that something she wants to say. i turned to her motioned with my eyes "what"

"there take that with you." disported her eyes towards the tea table. i asked again " what is it?

"go there you will se yourself." that child like smile does something to me. anyways i went there and took hold of that box and stood in front of her.

"open it," i did as i asked to, and there was "Tissot sport ". i turned to her, why?

"for you, and don't ask me  why? what? it wasn't necessary and all please accept it"

ok, when did you buy? because you can't go for shopping now having immense pain? i narrowed my eyes on her.

"you can't go without asking anything do you?" smiling widely "yeah i asked Raff to bring this,  and did you like it." she asked with that amusing eyes. 

i liked it, thank you but, she stood up and again she puts her hand on my mouth, this has become normal between us from yesterday.

what am i doing? every time i do this thing putting my hand on his mouth that hot breath brushes my palm. and i can't even form a sentence still i do this,

i removed my hand " no more questions or else I'll start to name you  in different ways?  which you would have never thought. would you like that?" he shrugged and thanked me again.

"never so please don't risk your memory, and I'll mail you the details for tomorrow."  he walked to door and i also went smiling behind him to send him.

he stopped abruptly and said "Maya don't go to any new place without me? i nodded again. he opened door said bye and left.

i didn't wanted him to leave so soon, even i wouldn't be able to talk much to him i wanted him to be here. well he has work to do but yesterday he too care of me like how, i can't put in words. i liked that . but why? and why he was frustrated while taking about Anna?
