Night Knocking...on Day 14
I slid from bed and tiptoed to investigate the knocking in my closet.
Slowly cracking it open, I'm abhorred.
Clothes are everywhere!
"Hey!" I shout at the slight yellowish-green gremlin pulling clothes off hangers and flinging them around willy-nilly!
He freezes then laughs maniacally and throws a silk blouse one way and the hangar the other, explaining the banging.
"Enough!" I declare.
Grabbing his bat-like ear, I carry him at arms-length to the kitchen.
"I saw Gremlins!"
I open the microwave and stuff the gremlin inside.
Now I need a new microwave.

Knocking from my closet woke me with a start. I slid from bed and tiptoed over. Slowly cracking open the door, I'm abhorred at what I see. A little green and yellow gremlin was pulling my clothes off the hangers and flinging them willy-nilly around the closet!
"Hey!" I shouted.
He froze then laughed maniacally and grabbed a silk blouse, sending it one way and the hangar the other. At least I knew where the banging came from.
"Ironing this stuff takes a long time. Quit it!"
He shook his head and ripped down a pleated wool skirt.
"Enough!" I declared.
Grabbing his bat-like ear, I lifted him from the pile and carried him at arms length to avoid his sharp claws.
"I saw Gremlins. I know what to do with you!"
In my tidy kitchenette, I opened the microwave and stuffed the gremlin inside.
"Ewwww!" I grimaced when he exploded after a minute on high. I'd need to buy a new one if I ever wanted to use a microwave again - and who can live without microwave popcorn?
