23: Talk about a plot point(s) that has been removed from the story

Inner Demon

Well…Dante was supposed to die in this book. Ha. He wasn’t supposed to come back as a Berserker. He was to suffer the same fate as Julie and become prey for the invading demons. Obviously, that didn’t happen.

I don’t know. He just kinda…popped back in, and as I continued writing, I saw how well it worked. I think if he hadn’t stayed alive, he wouldn’t have been with Reyna when they were with Auronmar. He wouldn’t have been there to keep her human, and Reyna would’ve become pretty jaded to the point where she didn’t care about anything or anyone anymore. I think she would’ve gone as far as the kill Mundus. O.o

Act of a Demon

There was something going in this story that ended up being moved to the third book. I can’t go into too much details on that ‘cause it would be spoiling thing. Let’s just say…it talks about the demon’s pasts and how the civil war came about. It’s important to know that in order to understand how the balance can be saved and preserved.

Calathus

It’s not so much a plot point was taken out but more arranged differently…? In other words, things have been introduced earlier or later than I intended. Jabel’s destruction came earlier than I thought and Iari’s magick was also introduced earlier than I had planned.

Pretty much that’s it. Nothing too big.
