12: Talk about a character’s action(s) that surprised you

Inner Demon

Mundus is probably the one that surprised me here. I originally planned for this to be a stand–alone book and even when Blethinette came out, I figured Mundus would stand by Reyna and fight her, but he didn’t. He had other plans and it started becoming evident as the story got closer to the end, especially when he and Dante were traveling to rescue Reyna in the end. It was there I knew Mundus was not going to stay.

Act of a Demon

I think Gahn is probably the one that surprised me the most. Not so much one thing he did but just him in general. I didn’t know exactly what kind of character he would be and he just evolved on his own into one of my favorites. I can say I was pleasantly surprised.

Calathus

It’s too early to tell but Aldermeck has been surprising me lately. She’s more “steely” than I originally thought she would be. I thought she was going to be more laid back. It’s pretty fun seeing where she takes me. She’s a scary woman I wouldn’t want to mess with.
