DAY 18: Thirty facts about myself

I'm going to try and make this as interesting as possible, considering that thirty is a lot, and I might run out of ideas and start listing super basic facts like my favourite colour lmao

So, let's do this:

1 - I am fascinated by snakes. I just think they're really cool, and they seem interesting. I wouldn't want to touch a venomous one of course, but it would be nice to learn more about them. It's weird I know.  

2 - I speak un poco espanol since I take Spanish classes at school ;)

3 - I want to become a doctor. An eye doctor specifically. Some of you may already know this, but oh well. I want to be a doctor because I love helping people (too much) and an eye doctor, because I think the eye is one of the most important parts of the human body. 

4 - I read more English than French, though I try my best to read French books once in a while, because the vocabulary is so much more complicated, and I need to improve my French writing for French class.

5 - I go to a French International School. Meaning it's a French school, English is the second most used language in the school, then Thai, then since it's international, there's many more languages like Spanish, German, Chinese, and Latin (I learn Latin). 

6 - I cannot lift one eyebrow up, I cannot wiggle my ears, so not much talent there lmao

7 - I play the piano. I guess I'm pretty good. Some songs that I'm playing are 'Shameless', 'Lost Boy', 'Little Do You Know' and 'Pink Panther'. Can you guys play a musical instrument?

8 - I'm scared of the future. Like, will I have a husband? Or will I be lonely? Will I be able to live on my own? Will I have a job? Will I even graduate? I'm just really scared. 

9 - I have naturally curly dark brown hair. It's hazel at the bottom, naturally of course. I used to have no hair, and it used to be pretty straight. Then one day it just went POOF and BAM I had curly hair.

10 - I make it a goal in my future life, if I have kids, to show them Tom and Jerry, all the Disney princess movies, Dora, Pink Panther and just about all the shows I watched as a kid. I want a child that can understand memes that include these characters, but also I want to have that connection, if you feel me. 

11 - I love songs from the 90's, like Britney Spears (for example). They just give off such a different vibe than songs nowadays, though that doesn't mean that I dislike songs made in this generation, they're just different. 

12 - I am born on a Saturday, therefore my planet is Saturn, and coincidentally, it's the planet I love the most :) 

13 - I don't have a signature, I wish I did, but I don't. My signature on my passport is my full name written in capital letters, which takes forever to write, so of course it won't be my official signature once I become an adult. 

14 - I still have the four of my grandparents, though I see my Thai family more often. On the French side of my family, I still have a great-grandfather who is absolutely healthy. My great-grandmother died a few years ago from Alzheimer, but I guess it was predictable. 

15 - I have an obsession with pineapples. It's weird since I don't enjoy eating pineapple all that much, it's actually just because the French word for pineapple (ananas) resembles my real first name (though that's a secret).

16 - I (try to) write British English, since that's the English I learn at my school. So I write mum, realise, colour, and all that jazz as much as I can. Though I won't go as far as writing lorry, it sounds too posh for me.

17 - I lose stuff very easily, and I am also a very forgetful person, which I hate, but I guess I have to live with it. 

18 - I know I said I was forgetful, but when it comes to exams, it's really easy for me to revise them. I'm a nerd (yes I am, kinda proud of it to be honest) and get above average grades, so yeah. 

19 - I have a Kindle, I got one for my 13th birthday, and I still have it, it's working like wonders. It's practical for the plane, since I don't have to pack a bigillion kilos of books in my bag, and also if you don't know the definition of a word, you just gotta highlight it. Though real books are of course so much better, the smell of the pages peopleeeee!!!

20 - I believe in fate. I've told a few people this, but I do. That's the only thing I believe in including karma. I think that free will is basically fate, since fate made you pick that will; basically I just think it's all fate. But of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. 

21 - I have never in my life read nor watched Percy Jackson and Harry Potter, yes, I know, how disappointing. 

22 - My lucky number is number 5. Why? Because it just is. It works all the time with me, there are several examples, but they're too confusing, so I'll just leave it at that. 

23 - I am around 165 cm which is ~ 5'4 and I don't know but that seems small, though I am a pretty tall girl in my school, not that tall, but taller than most. 

24 - My favourite sports are basketball and gymnastics. I've been starting basketball at school and I've become close friends with a lot of guys. Also I love the sound of the bouncing ball, it's just so comforting for me. I've been doing gymnastics since I was 6 or 7 years old, which is a pretty old age to start the sport, but I've improved a lot :)

25 - I can't dance, like at all, and singing is not any better, so yeah. 

26 - I have Italian and Chinese origins. Italian from my dad's side of the family, and Chinese from my mum's side. 

27 - My favourite drink is water. I occasionally drink orange juice and milk, but water is like the best drink ever. I don't really like Coke, Fanta and all of that. 

28 - I automatically wake up at 6 am everyday because of school schedules. If I'm lucky I wake up at 7, and on days where I can't sleep well, I wake up at 5. Not the best times to wake up, but it'll have to do, and I'm used to it, so *shrugs*

29 - My favourite Disney princess has always been Aurora. For no particular reason, I just formed a liking to her. 

30 - Though my current best friend is a female, I love having guy friends, they're just so much fun, and I just feel more comfortable around them. I'm no tomboy or anything, I just think guys are a lot of fun, friend-wise.
