Lol this is so cliche, but it's gotta be Basket Case by Green Day (aka that song that the majority of youth have related to at some point in their life).

Like... when I first heard this song I wasn't that into music at the time, so I didn't really know that much about Green Day, or about how popular this song is, but from that first listen I could relate so much.

One thing that caught my attention was "neurotic to the bone," mostly because my mom would always get annoyed with me for my ridiculous neuroses (for example I stopped playing tennis because I would get paranoid that the other people practicing on the court were watching me and judging me [they weren't, but still] so I'd freeze up).

Anyways, I decided that from that point forward this song was my theme song. It's just feels so personal and spot-on that it seems like Billie Joe Armstrong looked into my brain and started singing from there.
