"So, how is marriage going?" Bucky asks when he dropped himself in one of Steve's office chairs.

"It's good." Steve says

"Good? Not great? Fantastic?" Sam asks

"It's fine, besides we're not even in love with each other." Steve says

"Have you even kissed her since the wedding? Please say yes." Bucky says

"No. We haven't." Steve says

"Why not?" Sam asks

"That's not us. We don't do that kind of stuff. We're like friends." Steve says

"Oh, no." Bucky says

"Does she know that?" Sam asks

"Probably." Steve says

"Now let's talk about good marriages." Bucky says, "I'm planning on proposing to Wanda, but I don't know how."

"Just do something romantic." Steve says

"Yes, that would be great. Nothing big." Sam says

"I can't believe you're agreeing with the man who doesn't kiss his own wife." Bucky says

"Drop it." Steve says

"Anyways, I wanted to do something big and romantic." Bucky says

"Well, isn't Wanda re-opening her cafe? Do it then. It's the place she loves the most and you helped her with everything." Sam says

"That's great!" Bucky says, "Now when are you guys free for ring shopping? I also want to add a special present for just the re-opening."

"What about a necklace?" Steve suggests

"Why do you always have these small gifts? Necklaces, bracelets, earings. When does your wife get something big?" Bucky says

"Hey. Natasha adores the jewellery very much." Steve says

"Yeah, but it's useless if she has so many." Bucky says

"Just give her something useful next time." Sam says

"Like what?" Steve says

"Give her a car and I'm sure you won't just be kissed." Bucky says

"You think a car would help with that?" Steve asks

"Yeah. It's a big gift and she can use it." Sam says

"Well, her old car is crap. I'm gonna do it." Steve says

"Why can't I open my eyes?" Natasha asks for the millionth time

"Just a little more." Steve says

"Steve, I wanna see." Natasha says

"Okay. Open them." Steve says

Natasha opened her eyes and right in front of her was a brand new black chevrolet corvette stingray.

"Holy shit, Steve." Natasha says

"Is that your only reaction?" Steve jokes

"No, no, no. Of course not." Natasha says, "Steve, this is incredible. I can't believe it."

"Are you happy?" Steve asks

"Of course! I was planning on getting a new car already, but now you did it for me!" Natasha says, "Thank you so so much! I love it."

Natasha wrapped her arms around Steve's neck and hugged him. Steve wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close. Natasha pulled her head from Steve's side and was inches away from his face. Then she pressed her lips against his.

Natasha pulled away as fast as she could. She took a step back and looked at the ground.

"I'm so sorry." Natasha says

"Hey, don't be sorry." Steve says and tried to get closer to her, but she stepped further away.

"I'm just gonna go." Natasha says, "Thank you for the car, truly. I'll start on dinner."

The whole dinner was silent. Steve tried to say something, but Natasha didn't budge. After dinner Natasha cleaned everything up and fled upstairs. Steve shortly followed her after and saw that she had a suitcase on the bed.

"What's with the suitcase?" Steve asks when he entered the bedroom.

"Did I forget to tell you?" Natasha says

"Tell me what?" Steve asks

"I'm going on a last-minute business trip. I heard about it this morning and I forgot to tell you at dinner." Natasha says

"Oh, that's fine. Where are you going?" Steve asks

"Uhh... Austria, I think." Natasha says

"You think?" Steve asks

"It was in the Alps and Austria is fully in there." Natasha says

"Oh, right." Steve says, "When will you be back?" Steve asks

"Umh, next week or something. I'm not sure. I'll text you when I get home." Natasha says

"Good, good." Steve says, "When will you leave?"

"Tomorrow at 6, I'll make you breakfast and lunch. Do you want me to prepare dinner?" Natasha asks

"No, that's not necessary." Steve says

"Are you sure?" Natasha asks

"Yeah, I'll be fine." Steve says

"Okay. Now can you maybe give me some space to pack? I can't do it when people are in the room, it gives me stress." Natasha says

"Of course. Whatever you need." Steve says

Steve went back downstairs. Natasha closed the bedroom door and went to her closet. She removed the wall behind her dresses and moved it aside. She grabbed her gear and put it in the suitcase along with some undercover clothes.

Natasha sat in the jet looking outside the window.

"Saw you drove a brand new car to the compound. What's up with that?" Maria asks

"Steve gave it to me." Natasha says

"That's amazing! I wish someone would give me a car and priceless jewellery." Maria says, "You look down."

"I kissed him." Natasha says

"Steve?" Maria asks

"Yeah." Natasha says

"Why are you upset about it? You kissed your husband." Maria says

"Because it was awkward! I immediately pulled away and ran back to our kitchen." Natasha says

"Did you talk about it?" Maria asks

"No. I avoided him." Natasha says

"Why?" Maria asks

"I was embarrassed. Everything was going great and now I ruined it." Natasha says

"Why did you kiss him?" Maria asks

"I don't know. I was grateful for what he did. We hugged and then I kissed him." Natasha says

"Okay. So you're falling for him?" Maria says

"I didn't say that! Just drop it, I'll figure it out. Hopefully he'll forget it." Natasha says

"She kissed you?" Sam asks

"You did it man!" Bucky says and held out his hand for a high five which Steve ignored.

"She did, but after it she completely ignored it ever happened and she avoided me." Steve says

"She can't do it forever." Bucky says

"Yes, but she is away on a business trip now so hopefully she will forget about it when she gets back." Steve says

"And then what?" Sam asks

"I don't know yet, but I just want to make her comfortable." Steve says

"Then just be a nice husband and when she gets back she will be comfortable." Sam says

"Great idea!" Steve says
