The importance of riding in your life

Riding and horses in general help me get away from the troubles of school, family and friends. The barn's always been a peaceful place, and as a favorite quote of mine says: "horses lend us the wings we lack." I can fly when I'm on the back of my horse. I can be myself when I pull into that grassy parking lot. I can forget all my troubling thoughts when I wrap my arms around her neck.
I can be happy when I'm at the barn. And nothing will ever take that away.
