Day 10

How your family/friends feel about you riding

I think both my parents are secretly nervous, my mom more than my dad, but they're warming up to it. Only took em six years. I'm trying to get them to take a lesson or two with me soon.

My friends, hmm...well, my ex-best friend was a horse fanatic and I was going to buy her lessons, then I lost it with her attitude and fake apologies and not ever caring. In other words, I ditched her. She deserved it. Still doesn't know what's going on.
KB, a real best friend of mine, (her real name is Kaitlyn, we just call her that because I said so) also loves horses. She moved to Florida from Kentucky and had to leave her own horse, Blue Jeans, behind. So she's trying to get into riding herself.
Mal on the other hand, is half terrified, half fascinated by horses. She'll love them if she gives them a chance. She just needs a little push, and I'm going to set the three of us up for a riding lesson together.
Lydia doesn't really know much about horses. I honestly don't even know if she knows I ride. She and I are very close, but we don't see each other very often and we're sadly drifting apart. Still holding on, though, we have no reason to stop being friends so we don't want to.
My friends and family just want me to be safe, I guess. They all support me even if they'd never stick their foot in the stirrup.
