School Rumble

This anime couldn't have been a better starter for me. The comedy had me hooked and the storyline looked like something I would write. In addition to good storyline, it also introduced me to the constant shouting, subtitles, and dubs. It was slightly violent now and then (school fights) and then there were the sexual scenes (girls with big boobs in bathing suits). Basically, it had everything I needed to know before I dove heard first into anime.

Overall, I'm glad I started out with this anime. It's not my favourite but it's definitely high on my list.

Plus, the opening is still one of the catchiest tunes I've heard.
