MORRIGAN DEVLIN was so angry she could scream! bubbling and fizzing with rage, it spread from the top of her head to the tips of her toes. the anger spit and burned and screamed and banged at her head, raging war in her veins and slashing sense of hope away. a bitter and charred girl was left from a war where the losing side was practically her own.

history is written by the victors, it speaks of glory, the bravery and the strife that heroes must go through so as to win such a grand and elusive war. history is written for simpering little victors, all pampered and cushioned in a world of their own. they can imagine just outside of it that the world spins, people move on, justice is served. the losers are just another dinnertime story to pull out for a little shared laughter, a little reminiscing of the past- history is conditioned to love some over others.

the others are shunned. history scorns villains, it burns the lot of them in pyres- suffocating you with sulfur and the 'guilt' and 'shame', whipping you all together for you are all one and the same. once a slytherin, always a villain. heaven has no place for the likes of them. the deviants that were scared, that feared and wondered when the torture would end.

the war's losses are to be picked and chosen. the 'evil' are cheered for- thank god they're dead. the noble are rejoiced, they'll make their way into the legends of magic, the history book that shines them with stars and golden idyllic praises.

the little half-breed banshee had no place to fit in such a black and white world. she was the silver and grey that adorned the pensive of the bittered and burned, the grey of the clouds as thunder rumbles, a shrill scream ahead to announce the doom and gloom that is to guillatine the life of another. she i formed from the same scythe that gives mercy to none. the pale complexion, the long black hair- morrigan devlin was hunted.

the war brought her on the run from being hunted to death for her ancestry, the aftermath made her and her housemates just another animal to hunt for leisure. they are not allowed to feel, not allowed to morn, not allowed to repent.

once a slytherin, always a villain.

the banshees cry rings, it's a distorted song full of sorrow and pain, filled with anger and incongruous feelings that battle against each other, ringing and screeching in the ears of those who care to listen. it cracks the glass, it's the scratching of chalkboard, it's the grieving song of one who's lost more than they'd like to admit.

the afraid have no place in history, so they are bunched with the villains. they are the villains.

i said yall that i would post this and lookie
here i really am. tbh i'm so happy with how
this synopsis came out it's so <3 ugh i love
all of them so much. this definetly tries to
look into experiences of the losers at the end
of the war, so we are dealing with conflicting
morals and morally grey people in general.

having the feeling you'll all love them so much.
i probably won't be updating this a lot until
later on in honeyed lips due to major spoilers
out of this but i thought it would be super fun
to write this whilst writing the first book ! i have
no idea why but i thought it sounded fun.

morri is my baby and i completely forgot mirabell
was a name if heard from encanto but now i literally
have a parallel planned because i would be terrible
if i didn't do at least ONE parallel.

i hope you all enjoy this and the snape bashing
and dumbledore bashing i will continue to
