24 Mrs.Anisa(Edited)
Mrs.Anisa:
There were many guests, Alhamdulillah, and everyone enjoyed all the events. The wedding went exactly as I had hoped—from family friends to relatives to business partners to cousins.
Still, I find it hard to believe that my best friend, Ayman, and I are married.who has always stood by me and helped me through my ups and downs; I know it is a part of life; accept it and move on.
The girls forced me to wait for Ayman on a big king-sized bed in his room after they shut the door.It was extremely exhausting, and even though I do not like jewelry or fancy clothes, I was already sick of having to wear such bulky outfits every day due to traditions.
"Where was Ayman?"I just hope he is okay because I have not heard from him since the evening, I thought.
I already miss him, so please, Allah, keep him safe.
I waited and checked the time—it was almost nine o'clock—and odd ideas kept coming to me until I decided to get up and pray, Isha. I had thought that we would pray together, but maybe he was preoccupied with work.
I did not turn around to see who it was because I knew who it was when I heard the door crack just as I was putting down the prayer mat.
That is right; I will just give him the silent treatment. We had recently gotten married, so the complete silence was really awkward. Why did he arrive late?
"You are not going to question me?"I slowly turned to look up at him when he asked a question.
I was enthralled with the most attractive man I had ever seen, my spouse, who had been gone for approximately four hours. Rather than feeling angry with him, I am simply relieved that he is safe and in front of me.
My heartbeat quickened as he whispered, "You look beautiful," and I quickly forgot about his tardiness.
I looked down again and said, hesitantly, "You look handsome."
"May we please pray first?"I asked, and he nodded. He prayed the adhan (call to prayer) and stood in front of me while I waited behind, and we both prayed and made supplications (dua).
I knew he was hiding something, but I will not press him further until he wants to tell me, insha'Allah. He apologized for being late, saying he was simply busy.
"It is fine, everyone has their own reasons," I told him honestly, and his smile widened as he simply took my hand in his hand and kissed my forehead.
I looked him in the eyes, but he avoided looking at me. "Just please do not judge me and if anything you have the right every right to come to me and ask me anything," he said.On our special night, what was bothering him?
"I will not pass judgment on you; instead, let us build trust between us,"I did my best to reassure him that although I knew there would be many ups and downs, the most important thing for all of us to have is understanding, and that I would always be here for him.He led me to our bed, where we lay together for hours on end, talking until we fell asleep.

I woke up and stretched my arms recited some morning prayers and thanked Allah for giving me another day in which I will learn something.
I went to open the curtains and turned to look at certain figure sleeping peacefully and a smile appeared on my face while staring at the most handsome husband of mine.We all have our flows but together we can do anything I checked the time it was 7am.First morning in my inlaws house.
I let him sleep and went downstairs and the smell of pancakes made me rush towards the kitchen aunty I mean my mom in law was making pancake while otherside chocolate was kept for the chocolate syrup.
"Assalamualeikum aunty,"I greeted Ayman's mom(aunt Yumna).
"Waleikumsalam,"she replied with a mischevious tone.
"Ahem ahem and how was the night and where's Ayman?"she asked while whisking the mixture and I helped her melting chocolate.
"Alhamdulillah he's sleeping so I thought of not disturbing him,"I replied and she just smiled.
"Where's uncle?"I asked her and she stared at me.
"Uncle or dad?now you are our daughter so dear call us mom and dad just like Ayman calls us,"she said politely and I nodded we served on the table and talked for few minutes while waiting for both dad and Ayman.
I had worn abit heavy dress since it was my first day and did abit if make up just for my husband.Anything for him.
"Assalamualeikum,"I heard both of them greeting while Uncle sat next to aunty and Ayman just had to sit next to me.
"Waleikumsalam,"we both replied to them and served them.
Oops I just said uncle and aunty I hope I don't say loudly infront of her she has already told me to call them the way Ayman calls them.
I have known these people since I was young but it's not same now they are my inlaws I have to think twice before taking any decision been five days so far I feel blessed they have always shown so much love Alhamdulillah.

I went in my room and Ayman was on bed legs crossed and laptop on his stomach while he typed.Ah work even on his first week of marriage.
"Are you going to work?"I asked him I don't even know what made me ask him and may be I wanted to spend some time with him.
"I have a meeting with a company which will benefit us alot,"he said and I nodded understanding his situation it hurt but may be that's how Allah has planned today's day.
"I have to meet someone,"he said casually just someone I wondered.Should I ask him?
I took out for him his wallet and handkerchief and all other stuff needed without saying another word but I don't know why I felt there was something he was not telling me I knew he was staring at me all this while but we both decided not to break silence.
"I will go at 9am she will be there the assistant of the other company with whom we have worked since years,"he continued and I nodded.
Just relax, Anisa. You do not need to be envious of any particular assistant—this is just business.
