"So this is it." She said, tears starting to come out.

"Don't cry Sabine." I told her, holding her close. "We will be together one day I promise."

Tekara woke up with a start.

What was that?

Wait where is everything? Oh never mind I'm blind. I know how Kanan felt.

Where did that come from? Who is Kanan?

He shook his head, he pushed it to the back of his mind, he didn't need distractions today of all days.

Because today was the day they would enslave all of Lothal.

"Lothal we have been to Lothal a lot and Lothal has the evil loth cats." Mouse complained.

"Well we have news that the Empire is planing an attack to kill the fire of rebellion." She explained for the hundredth time.

"Can't the loth cats fend for themselves."

Eights shook his head.

"We are not saving loth cats we are Saving the citizens of Lothal." Circuits explained.

"How did you even hear this news?" Vent asked, suspicious.

"One of our fulcrum agents informed us." She told him.

"Who is that?" Mouse asked.

"Sometimes it's better not to know." Sabine said. "Everyone find a seat we will be heading to hyperspace."

She walked off to the cockpit with Eights.

Circuits took notice that Ahsoka sat as close to Kanan as she could to keep her eye on him.

Kanan was very uncomfortable.

Circuits, Mouse and Vent all found a seat and prepared for the jump.

"I'm impressed you learned how to fly." Sabine told Eights as they calculated the jump.

"It was always a dream of mine." He told her, remembering that conversation with Ezra.

{flashback}

"You are welcome to sit here." Ezra sat down and pointed to the copilot seat and I sat down there.

Wow, he's a pilot I didn't think they would teach him that.

"I learned that before I came and they just "refreshed my memory."" He said.

"Ok either you need to stop doing that or I just have to get used to it." I said.

"Sorry, it's just so easy to do when only one person is with you." He said.

"I'll try to get used to it." I said.

He started up the ship and flew out of the bay. I've always wanted to be a pilot. I thought and saw Tekara about to say something and shot him a looked, I immediately felt scared and he laughed.

"Trust me you don't want to fly in the Empire the ties have no shields and they are easy to shoot down." He said.

We flew though space to Vader's star destroyer across the sea of ships.

"Ready?" He asked as we landed in the bay.

Nope. "Ready as I'll ever be." I said he locked the ship to the ground and opened the door.

I hope I don't die.

{end of flashback}

"How is Ezra?" He asked as they pulled out of the base.

"He could be better." She said with a weak smile.

"I knew him too." He said, looking down and Sabine realized that it wasn't just her going though this.

"He'a a good person." She told him.

"He is and you deserve a man like him, if and when he gets though this." He said and didn't look her in the eyes.

"Thanks." She said.

"I just want to let you know that I like you as a friend and if you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I just wanted to tell you and get it off my chest."

"Thanks Eights, that means a lot and I'll probably take you up on that."

"You better." He said with a smile and the two jumped to hyperspace towards danger.
