Author's Notes And Recommendations
Yup, one last chapter for this. Forgot to add this at the end of the last chapter so I'm just adding it here. Also I'm not typing this in bold like I usually do since this chapter isn't technically part of the story. I'm just gonna give my thoughts, recommend some of my other works, and wrap this up.
Why I Wrote This: I started this story just after the series finale. I thought it would be interesting to see the clones have developing character arcs and deal with the delima of being clones. Also, I thought it would be nice to see what happened to them and what they do after Summer ends. Also I had a very faint, distant, nearly impossible hope that Alex Hirsch might read it. If this wins the Wattys maybe he will. Who knows?
How I Chose Their Names: Originally, they were gonna be named Tyrone and Dopper, but having names similar to Dipper's and stealing the name of a dead clone seemed unfit for the story. So I made something up.
The Writing Process: Writing this story wasn't to difficult. It's a fairly simple work, with one plotline to follow. I enjoyed writing it thoroughly, and would do it again on a heartbeat.
The Future of Frank and George: As I said, I may write a sequel if Gravity Falls gets a season three. Although I'm holding off on it for now. Also, on the very off chance I do win the Wattys and Ales Hirsch does read this, and on the even more off chance he's interested in reworking it and airing it as a mini series, well, I am looking for work. So there's that one in a billion, stars aligned situation that'll never happen. Even if it does, there's a good chance I won't be hired or even given any credit, which would suck, and of that happens, whelp, I won't write any more for them. Although I doubt Alex would do that, I'm just paranoid as hell. Seriously, if you happen to be Alex Hirsch, and you wanna make this a mini series, I will gladly accept the job. I don't know how much a writer of such a thing would make, but I would accept any reasonable offer. That's all I have to say on the matter. Moving on, here are some of my other works I can recommend you.
Manytale: Undertale AUs crossover with a mystery involving Swaptale Chara. The mystery is probably the only reason I can recommend it to Gravity Falls fans, but it's still a good book. If you like Undertale, and have a decent understanding of the AUs, give it a look.
To Kill A Chara: Oh look, more Undertale. This one is about Chara, slowly corrupting Sans after an incident involving Frisk and a bully. It includes Gaster and a plot twist you'll never see coming. Read it if you like Chara redemption stories.
The Story on the Board: What's A "Fourth Wall?" (Book One): Oh, this one, this one is my favorite. My longest work, and by far my best and most complicated. Taking place in a world where everyone knows they're in a story, it involves conspiracies, time travel, fourth wall jokes, and numerous mysteries about the world beyond the miniverse it takes place in, and mysteries about the inner workings of the miniverse itself. Very complicated, very good, and completed with a sequel already forty chapters in. I recommend this over all my other works. It is my best by far, has the most effort put into it, has the most chapters, has the most passion behind it, and most importantly, is the most intriguing with numerous mysteries, just like Gravity Falls. If you only read one, read this one.
That's all, have a great day everyone, thanks for reading and supporting this story, and good luck with your own works!
