Part 1: The Word Became Flesh

We must understand the divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ. We must put into our minds that He is GOD. He is before time. He is before existence. He is before everything. He is more than human - He is God. We must acknowledge the divinity, majesty and superiority of the Lord Jesus Christ. We must believe that He is God, He is Lord, and He is supreme. The Word became flesh to save us from our destruction and damnation. He chose to die on that wooden cross to give us life. But on the third day, He rose from the grave... declaring His supreme vindication. We are now free from the guilt of sin if we are under the LORDSHIP of the Lord Jesus Christ.

"When the world was doomed

and depraved by sin

Hope has no room,

and death entangled in.

All of a sudden,

Love and mercy came...

Giving us hope from within,

Healing the blind and the lame."

-Arden Charles Santos

Memory Verse:

John 1:1-3,14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Reflection:

Jesus Christ is the Word. The Son of God, who lived the perfect and blameless life that we cannot live and die on a death that we should have died. Jesus Christ is the Word that became flesh to bear our sins on that Roman cross. So as the Bible clearly stated, that by 'His stripes we are healed' and by His precious blood, we have been saved.
