As soon as Amara felt her baby girl being placed on her chest she felt her whole heart swell up. She swallowed as she kissed her baby's head ever so gently. Tears fell out of her face as her baby immediately stopped crying and cooed in her mothers arms.

"Hi my love" Amara whispered to her new born daughter feeling full.

This was what she was made for

"Can I hold her?" He asked Amara and she nodded and he looked to the doctor for approval which she nodded at. Amara carefully placed the beautiful little girl in his arms and he felt his tears fill with happy tears.

"My beautiful girl" he whispers making the newborn child play with his hand a little. "She's perfect Mars" he says looking at her and she smiled at him once more.

"She really is." She says grinning but she winced in pain at the sudden wave of dizziness that comes over her. "Is feeling dizzy normal?" She says turning to the doctor and she looks confused at the question as Amara starts to feel faint. She winces as her eyes fill heavy and Cench's eyes dart to hers just as soon as they closed.

"Mars?"

Amara died that day

For 60 seconds exactly.

Her whole life flashed in front of her as she woke up from her days slumber. Her heart thumped against her chest as her eyes darted around the room. Cench sits up and Amara immediately frowns noticing his tired eyes. "What happened?" She says in a panic.

In a split second Amara is sent into a bone crushing hug by her boyfriend. She gasps at the sudden feeling but embraces the hug. He pulls away showering her with kisses and she looks at him confused. "What happened? Is our baby okay?" She says staring at him wide eyed when she finally now realized the iv placed in her arm.

Again? This is the third time!

"Did I die?" She says finally pricing everything together and he nods not even wanting to say the words. "Stop fucking doing that to me" he says kissing her head and she looked at him sideways jokingly.

He's acting like she could help dying or something

"Where is she?" She says immediately pulling away from the hug and just then she hears a small fit of cries. She immediately turns her head getting a little bit of whiplash as she lays eyes on her beautiful baby girl.

She looks to Cench who picks her up placing her in Mara's hands.

Amara grins hard as her baby starts to play with her fingers. An overwhelming sense of joy overcame her as she started to feel tears spring to her eyes. "How long was I out?" She says choked up while looking up at Oakley.

"About a day or two." He says and she sighs sadly. She felt like a bad mother. "I'm sorry" she says, not wanting to take her eyes off the seemingly fragile girl. "Why?" He says taking his eyes off of the newborn and looking at her. "I don't know. I just feel horrible. I missed out and left you here to deal with everything" she says wiping the tears that slipped onto her daughter's face.

"Mars that isn't your fault" he says reassuring her. "I don't know. I just feel guilty" she sniffled and Cench wanted nothing but to wipe away her tears. Amara felt a wave of tiredness wash over her and she blinks rapidly in an attempt to stay awake. "You need a break?" he says looking at her and she silently nods looking down so he wouldn't see her cry.

When was she going to be back to herself again?

"Dude you can't do that to me!" Ettinnette says running into the room to hug Amara who had just woken back up an hour ago. Ettinnette basically jumped into the drained Amara's hands and Mars hugged her back still feeling weak.

"You okay girl?" Ettinnette mouths to Amara because she remembered how Mars didn't like to voice her feelings openly. Amara quickly nods as Cench walks in with her seafood. "Yes!" She says sitting up starved after not eating for 4 days. He laughs a little passing it to her and she immediately digs in as her eyes roll to the back of her head in pure joy.

It's like it's a reward.

"Lemme see my niece nigga" She says gesturing to Oakley and Amara's eyes widen. "My child dude!" She says reprimanding her and Ettinnette rolls her eyes.

"Womp Womp" Ettinnette says and Mara silently flips her off wiping her eyes while continuing to eat. Ettinnette stares in awe of the baby as Cench quietly slips out of the room and she looks up at Amara. "You did your little one two with her. She's ethereal" Ettinnette says grinning at the small baby.

Cench walks back into the room with two bags in his hand. "More food?" Amara says looking up and Ettinnette mutters an almost silent "fat ass" under her breath. "No. Your push present" he says and her eyes widen as she puts her food aside sitting up. He passes her the bags smiling and she gasps at what is inside.

The Presents

"Cench" she breathes out in shock at the bracelets. "Dude how much were these?" She says staring at the various gifts in front of her and Ettinnette sighs. "I hate not being in love. Isn't that right baby" Ettinnette says switching into a baby voice turning to her once again which she laughs at. Amara rolls her eyes knowing damn well she loved Jack but she pushed it aside looking up at Cee. She mouths a silent thank you and he kisses her lips in return.

Amara finally sat back in her baby's nursery holding the fragile baby. She rocks the little girl back and forth silently singing "To Zion" by Lauryn Hill but replacing the word Zion with her name.

Cench walks in admiring his two girls and Amara sighs finally being able to hear her asleep. She continues to hum the Lauryn Hill song as Cench kissed her lips sitting down on the couch in there. "You didn't have to wake up. I had her '' Amara says, smiling at him softly. "Couldn't sleep anyway. Had something on my mind?" He says and Amara sets down the newborn. "And that's?" She says turning around to be met with Cench on one knee.

She gasps, staring at him. "Dude, don't play with me right now. You know my hormones messed up" she says approaching Cench as she looked at the beautiful diamond ring. "Amara Jaylin Campbell..." Cench starts as Amaras eyes well up with tears. "Ever since that day you bumped into me in the studio parking lot I've been infatuated with you. Your smile,presence, and aura has made me a better person-Shit your being serious" Amara says interrupting his speech as a tear slips from her eye.

"Damn Mars let me finish innit'?" He says smiling at her and she nods immediately. "Anyways... When I saw you on that operating table I couldn't fathom the thought of losing you. You make me, me. I want to be the one to wipe your tears. I want you to be the first thing I wake up to. I never want to have to deal with the thought of losing you. So with that...Will you please marry me?" he finishes off and Amara wipes the tears off her facing jumping into his arms.

She kisses him all over as she continues to cry as she goes back and forth from looking at the ring to him. "So is that a yes?" he whispered against her lips wiping her cheeks. "Duhh Nigga!" she says wrapping her arms around his neck and he kisses her again completely immersed in her.

"I love you"
