AMBER WALKED DOWN the marble steps leading to Tony's 'Top secret workshop', she didn't recall how she got there but she went with the flow. She peaked through the glass and there he was.

Tony sat at his workshop counter fidgeting with something, he looked as miserable and tired as Amber. His hair was unkept and definitely not clean.

Amber walked closer, It seemed that Tony was not able to see the girl. Tony was holding a similar burner phone to the one that was gifted by Steve to the girl.

Amber felt a tap on her shoulder, her breathing sped up as she turned around and the face that haunted her dreams was now standing right in front of her.

Pietro stood with his arms crossed, his white hair styled to perfection. He looked exactly like what he did on the day he died. Pietro was still wearing his blue long sleeved top. As she examined his clothed torso, she realised there were no bullet holes. She sighed in slight relief, but as Amber studied his face she gasped in faint horror, tears ran down her face uncontrollably.

His eyes....his beautiful eyes. What had happened? His normal blue eyes were no longer in sight instead his eyes were as black as the night sky.

Amber backed away in terror her arms out trying to stop him from coming closer, when she hit a wall.

Or what she thought was a wall...

She turned around and the entirety of the Avengers were standing in front of her their eyes matching the same pitch black color as Pietros had been.

Amber let out a small shriek of fright, and covered her mouth from screaming louder. Her breathing was erratic and she was trembling all over.

"It's only time before they meet their end" a deep voice called out, from the shadows.

"Wh-who's there?" Amber asked shakily, squinting her eyes to see beyond the shadows.

A tall, large purple figure in battle armor walked out of the shadows. A maniacal smirk plastered across his face.

"Soon, you'll know how it feels to lose" the purple figure stated, he raised is giant hands.

One of them was adorned with a golden glove that had what looked like diamonds, glimmering in the spots of sunlight were attached to the knuckle of the glove.

Amber stumbled backwards as the figure came closer and closer, he raised the glove covered hand and snapped his fingers.

With a loud bang, the man or should I say special being, had vanished.

All around her it seemed that the Avengers and Pietro had been turned back to normal.

Until Pietro started panicking from the corner, his arms and legs turning into a powdered substance.

Amber tried to run towards him but was pushed back by an invisible field. Screams and pleads for help filled her ears as everyone around her began to disintegrate.

She screamed as she clutched her ears begging for it to stop. Her head was spinning and tears were now falling fast from her eyes.

Black spots covered her vision and with a final deafening shriek, she slumped to the floor.

Amber jolted awake surrounded by sweat, she had tears falling from her eyes and her throat felt raw from shouting.

She glanced at the digital clock beside her bed and let out a small hoarse sigh. It was only 2:30 in the morning.

Shakily she sat up in her bed and placed her feet on the cool wooden flooring. Amber bent over and reached into a drawer in her desk and pulled out the blue burner phone.

Hesitantly she pressed the only contact logged on the phone and held it to her ear. The silence around her was eerie as the phone tried to reach the other line.

Suddenly the beeping from the phone stopped and phone was now connected.

"St-Steve?" Amber asked, her voice trembling, hoping that Steve would be the one to have answered.

"It's me Amber" His voice echoed through the phone, sending a wave of relief over the terrified girl and confirming her guess.

"Is it a code 237?" Steve asked urgently, his voice laced with worry.

"No" Amber replied, tears slipping down her face.

"Well are you ok? Do you need help?" Steve's voice was getting louder and louder.

"I-I'm" Amber began,

"Do we need to come get you?" Steve interrupted in a sad way.

"No, I-I just-"

"Is. It. An. Emergency.?" Steve replied, it sounded as if he was speaking through his teeth.

"No" Amber said bluntly, her voice cracking. "I just needed to hear a familiar voice and ask for help. But it seems you're busy. I'm sorry.. I won't disturb you any longer."

And with that Amber hung up the phone, and let out a sob of despair. She threw the small phone at the wall, smashing it to pieces.

Amber wiped her eyes with her shaky hands and sat up straight when an idea hit her.

If Steve wouldn't listen, she knew someone who would.

Amber wiped her tears and opened her laptop, she clicked into a website. After a few minutes on it, Amber jumped off her seat and ran to her wardrobe.

She grabbed a small rucksack from the back of the small wardrobe and filled it with clothes and the necessities.

Amber quickly scribbled a note for Mia telling her that she was going on a last minute school trip. She placed the note on the absent girls beside locker along with a glass of water and painkillers.

Amber sighed as she looked around her apartment, what she was about to do was risky. There was a chance she'd never see this place again.

Amber placed a black cap on her head and shrugged on a brown leather jacket before opening the door and leaving the apartment.

With her bag in one hand and a ticket in the other, she walked down the halls and stairways and into the empty streets.

She walked over to the taxi bay and hopped inside an empty one.

"Where to Miss?" The British taxi man asked her,

"Heathrow Airport please" Amber said a fake smile across her face.

"Alright miss, you going somewhere nice?" He asked with a friendly tone. Amber thought for a second before answering.

"I'm going home".

Ooooohhhhh so much tension in just one chapter.
