That was a phrase i've heard quite a lot throughout my life. And i guess i have to agree.

My eye color was a simple dark brown,though at times people say it's black,and the eye color my soulmate has was blue,a color i've loved since i was little.
Whoever he was,he was a looker,i bet.

Though as the year go by and my eyes stayed two toned,i start worrying.

I mean,i'm already 28,how longer do i wait? All my friends have their soulmates...

I huff and follow my friends into the cafe. At the moment we were all in the Big Apple itself: New York City.

The cafe was cozy,which was good because it was kind of cold outside,the food was good and it was just overall a nice place.

What really caught me attention was that you could get a clear,nice view of the Avengers Tower from the window.

"So..." i overhear Danielle speak,"How are you and your soulmates?"

"Amazing." Audrey grins,"Having my husbandos as my soulmates is a dream come true!"

"It does seem like whoever you guys liked become your soulmates." I say,chuckling,"It's like fate loves you guys. And here i am still soulmate-less."

"Aww... dont worry Ate~" Ria pats me in the back

"Yeah,yeah. Anyway,imma go pee." I get up and head to the comfort room.

When i went back,a guy literally ran into me,the coffee he was holding splashed into my shirt.

"OW HOT COFFEE!"

"S-Sorry! Are you alri-"

We glanced at each other and i thought i saw a mirror.

Brown and Blue.

He blinked and his eyes were both blue,the most Brilliant Crystal Blue i've ever seen.

"...Sugar Honey Iced Tea." I say in surprise and he smiles at me

"Never realized my suflet pereche was this cute."

"Am i supposed to know what that means?" I raise an eyebrow,but i felt a grin tugging on my lips.

"It Means Soulmate." He replies,and reaches for my hand,kissing the back of it,"By the way,the name of your soulmate is Pietro Maximoff,I'm an Avenger and i love cuddles."

I let the grin form on my face and ignore the wolf-whistles from my friends and reply,"My name is Michiko Asahina,I'm a Doctor and i did not think getting Coffee on my shirt would let me find my soulmate."

"What?" He smirks,"You Didnt See That Coming*?"
