"Shindou! Tsurugi! You both came I almost thought that you weren't going to attend!" exclaimed their former coach Endou grinning while walking towards them.

"Sorry, coach I lost track of time" Shindou reasoned looking apologetic towards his former coach, once in front of them he stopped and patted their shoulder.

"What matters is both of you are able to make it" Endou said smiling at them.

"Hachoo!" both looked at the side to see Tsurugi's stern face having a tint of red and all those who saw and heard him laugh, after all it's not every day you see the stoic face of one Tsurugi Kyosuke make a blushing face.

"Oh shut up" Kyosuke rumbled annoyed but not angry, after a while everyone calmed down.

"I guess I'll prepare you guys a hot chocolate and grab some towels" Ryouma offered seeing as this is his home they're using as a gathering for this special event.

"Why don't you just go get some towels while I go and prepare some hot chocolates" Midori suggested offering her help, seeing as the two's condition they're kind of wet and there are still some snow left on their head, shoulder, and on some of their clothes.

'Thanks you guys" Thanked Shindou to the couples.

After everyone settled down Tsurugi walked with Endou to go with the other players who still plays soccer while Ranmaru walked up to Shindou.

"Hey, you ok?" Ranmaru asked worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm ok" Shindou answered smiling at him for reassurance.

"Man it's such a long time since we've last seen each other I'm so glad Ryouma thought of this Reunion Party" Hamano exclaimed grinning at the two of them, behind him were Sangoku, Kurama and Hayami.

"How have you been Shindou?" Sangoku asked starting a conversation with the group.

"Well as you can see my team in America -" and all of them started talking with each other happily catching up on the events of their friends life.

"Hey there Tsurugi took you long enough to get here" Ichino greeted at Kyosuke as he came and join their group.

"Well yeah, the snow was really strong it caught me off guard" Tsurugi stated, Midori then came holding two hot chocolates.

"Here, it must have been cold outside" Midori offered one of the hot chocolates on her hand.

"Thank you Midori-san" Tsurugi said smiling at her kindness.

"Welcome just wait for my husband to bring you a towel, why don't you seat near the fire place it would make feel warm" Midori suggested before walking away looking for Shindou and resumed their talking.

"Hey guys! I have some bad news for you all" Ryouma stated, gaining his visitors attention.

"The weathers going to be horrible this evening it would be hard to be able to go home since the snows are piling up and the winds really strong tonight I suggest that you guys sleep over at our home tonight" Ryouma suggested walking towards Tsurugi.

"Here you go Tsurugi" Ryouma said handing him one of the towels he has.

"Thanks, Ryouma-sempai" Tsurugi thanked taking the offered towel.

"Thanks for letting us sleep for the night" Daichi thanked.

"Yeah, it's just like the old times when we do a sleep over at each other's house" Kurumada said reminiscing about the past.

"It's nothing... well I'll leave you guys then" Ryouma said and walked off and started talking to the others and the others started talking with each other.

"Tsurugi, what's wrong you're frowning is there a problem?" Ichino asked noticing something odd about him.

"No, it's nothing don't worry I'm alright" Tsurugi smiled a little as a reassurance, but the others didn't believe a word he said.

"Why don't you loosen up I mean seriously its Christmas it's our Reunion Party have fun relax a little bit" Kurumada suggested.

"Here take a drink" Daichi suggested handing him a glass.

"But sempai I-" Tsurugi tried to deny the offer but Kurumada was having none of it.

"Don't tell me you don't drink because I'm sure all of us here drink at least once or twice in their life" which made Tsurugi shut up.

"And besides it's not like you're totally going to get drunk tipsy yes but not drunk" Aoyama added helping Tsurugi to loosen up a bit at the party.

"Sigh... fine but if I get drunk and embarrass myself you two are so dead" Tsurugi threatened at the two former third years and taking the glass from his sempai's hand.

"Yeah yeah" answered the two snickering at his threat having not changed for the past few years. And they talked a few more hours until Tsurugi couldn't take it anymore.

"Anyway if you'll excuse me I need to go to the bathroom" Tsurugi excused a little tipsy and walked out of the grouped.

"Tsurugi wait I need to tell you something" Tsurugi turned around and saw Aoyama walking towards him.

"What is it Aoyama-sempai?" Tsurugi asked in a tipsy voice.

"I know that you're going to look for Tenma" Tsurugi's eyes widened but before he could deny the accusation Aoyama beat him to it.

"Don't deny it I could tell that you wanted to see and talk to him" Aoyama said and Tsurugi was going to deny it for a second time when Aoyama cut him off again.

"Again don't deny it the others noticed your weird behavior too" Tsurugi just sighed and looked down at the floor.

"You sure? For all you guys know I'm acting like this because of the drink" Tsurugi stated half truthfully, Aoyama rolled his eyes at the statement.

'Yeah right listen first, you can fool yourself and everyone around you about the truth but you can't fool your heart" Aoyama stated looking him in the eye.

"Was I really that noticeable?" Tsurugi asked giving up on denying it and at the same time not wanting to find out the answer.

"More or less, anyway I have a question for you" Aoyama said seriously and Tsurugi raised an eyebrow at this.

"What is it sempai?" looking at him expectantly.

"Do you still love Tenma?" Aoyama asked in a serious voice looking at him in the eyes. Tsurugi is stunned for a few minutes at the straightforward question that he looked at him in confusion.

"What, sempai?" Tsurugi asked again for confirmation.

"Do you love Tenma?" Aoyama repeated with the same tone and expression. Tsurugi blinked once twice he opened his mouth but no words came out, seeing as Tsurugi won't speak Aoyama continued.

"Sigh... you don't have to answer me if you don't want to I'm not going to force you" Aoyama admitted as if expecting Tsurugi to answer such a question.

"I'm just going to give you a warning" Aoyama continued, this caught Tsurugi's attention some of his tipsiness disappearing.

"And what's that?" Tsurugi asked curiously and seriously.

"There's this guy who likes Tenma, he thinks that his husband Taiyou is still alive no one has told him yet that his dead and that Tenma's single, but it won't be long enough before the truth comes out and well let's just say he's starting to like Tenma more than he should" Aoyama informed.

Hearing this kind of information Tsurugi growled lightly and something deep within him opened up jealousy, possessiveness, and fear mixed it up with a little bit of the drink he was almost close to bursting out but was still able to control himself.

"Who's the guy?" Tsurugi growled lowly his facial expression being angry.

"I... don't know him well enough, all I know is that he is works in the same school as Tenma" Aoyama answered unsure, not knowing what will happen to his friend if he said any more than he should.

"Thanks Aoyama-sempai, but why?" Tsurugi thanked for the information.

"Because... I think you and Tenma still have a chance" Aoyama answered truthfully starting to remember about the past ever since they Tenma and Tsurugi joined the soccer team.

"Look ever since you and Tenma broke up he changed he became less happy he smile often but not from the bottom of his heart when he and Taiyou started dating he started slowly going back to his old self he started cheering up and when he and Taiyou married he was still in the healing process, do you understand?" Aoyama asked if Tsurugi understood how much effect he has on Tenma.

Tsurugi was shocked at hearing this, for the first time in his life he understood that the four of them were so focused on each other's presence and life that they didn't notice the others. He and the other's thought that their friends and teammates can detect something was going on but they didn't know what, but they were wrong they didn't notice it but they themselves were that obvious, they did try their best to act like nothing was wrong but sometimes they can't help but to slip up from their actions.

Sure all of them changed when they broke up who wouldn't they were each other's first love they even thought that they will be together even as adults get married and have children, but no one mistake was all it took to crumble that fragile bond they were still kids back then still trying out new things if they only knew how to control themselves then maybe it wouldn't have ended this way.

"I...do" Tsurugi answered, regretting the action he had done in the past.

"Good because I think Tenma still have some feelings for you, you still have a chance at him. I'm telling you this as a friend I don't like you guys suffering just because of a mistake or misunderstanding in the past. The past is the past you may not be able to change what happened back then but that doesn't mean you can't start all over again" Aoyama advised before walking away going back to the others.

"Aoyama-sempai" Tsurugi called.

"Yes?" Aoyama asked looking back at him.

"Thank you" Tsurugi thanked sincerely from the bottom of his heart smiling kindly at him.

"Always remember you're not alone...no one's truly alone even you, Tenma, Ranmaru, and Shindou always remember were here for you guys" Aoyama advised looking at him in the eye.

Tsurugi nodded his head in understanding and felt a surge of happiness knowing that even if years passed by his teammates never changed in helping and treating each other if they have problems or going on with their life and even if he doesn't show it he too won't think twice on helping them on their problems.

"Tsurugi!" He stopped hearing his name being called looking at the person who called him.

"Ranmaru-sempai" Tsurugi called walking towards their group forgetting for a second that he was looking for Tenma.

"How have you been?" Hamano asked.

"Alright, the team that I joined gives importance to team work and the individual's capability-" Tsurugi informed thinking that looking for Tenma could wait and the conversation changes once in a while.

"Hey guys, want some drinks?" Kurama asked since his out of drink.

"Yeah, I want some" Hamano answered.

"No, I'll pass" Hayami declined.

"Me too, I'll have to decline" Ranmaru answered.

"I want one" Tsurugi answered since his tipsiness disappeared and it's really good to use as a relaxation.

"Well then I guess I'll have to come with Kurama then since I'm going to have one too" Shindou offered helping his friend and the two walked away to get some drinks.

"You guys don't drink?" Tsurugi asked at the two who declined.

"My tolerance isn't that much, it'll be bad if I drink too much" Hayami admitted.

"I would drink more but I don't want to look or smell one tomorrow morning when I fetch the kids at a friend's house" Ranmaru explained.

"So how are those two doing?" Tsurugi asked, curious about the kids.

"Oh well Momoi and Taichi both of them have some similarities with Taiyou and Masaki-" and Ranmaru started telling them about the kids.

"Hey guys were back" Kurama announced seeing that the guys were laughing at something.

"So what are you laughing about?' Shindou asked seeing their state.

"Looks like Kariya's pranking was inherited by her daughter" Hamano said at the two.

"Really?" Shindou asked raising his eyebrow while smirking.

"Yeah, there was one time Taichi went to the bathroom to pee but when he opened the door Momoi was wearing a scary mask and scared him, resulting in...pfft... Taichi peeing in his shorts...ahahaha!" Ranmaru said remembering that scene. Everyone laughed at the story imagining sweet little Momoi doing such a thing, she really is the daughter of Kariya Masaki.

Taichi's face was red with embarrassment and anger for making him pee on his pants and his eyes were starting to water ready to cry and he started chasing Momoi around the house, if it wasn't for the two adults separating them the two children might have fought with each other since Momoi was a little bit tomboyish and doesn't back down even if it's a boy. In the end Taichi ignored Momoi for a whole week not talking to her at all or letting her borrow his toys, it wasn't until Momoi apologized and promised that she wasn't going to prank him anymore did he started talking to her again.

"By the way Tsurugi are you sure you're alright with drinking more?" Shindou asked worriedly.

"Yeah, why" Tsurugi asked raising an eyebrow.

"Just don't drink too much you were a little tipsy just now" Shindou noted, looking at him skeptically.

"Don't worry, I have this it isn't even strong enough to knock me out" Tsurugi reassured Shindou and the others.

They talked some more until Tsurugi had to excuse himself to go to the bathroom. He walked tipsily around the hallways looking for the correct room. His head was spinning and his is blurry and he couldn't think straight too much. When Tsurugi opened the door he's shocked to see someone opened the door on the other side.

"Tenma?" the boy who he had been looking for has been here the whole time, he had a dazed look and his face was red.

"Tsu...ru... hiccup....gi?" unsure if it's really him or his hallucinating.

"Tenma...what...?" he couldn't finish his question as Tenma fell on his shoulder.

"Tenma are you alright?" looking at the boy leaning at him with worry.

"Uhmm...need rest... want to..." Tenma mumbled half asleep already.

Uh... okay" he answered unsure, but started looking for a vacant bedroom.

Looping one of Tenma's arm around his shoulder. Good thing was since this is a party and the house is a huge mansion they are allowed to stay for the night. Once they found a vacant room Tsurugi closed the door.

No one noticed the two disappear for the rest of the night.
