#StarSaturday -- One celeb I've met/would die to meet

No, I have never met a celebrity. And I cannot think of any that I have a particular desire to meet either. I probably don't know enough celebrities, but that's okay with me too. I just live my life in a little dark hole.

cue Melissa digging me arduously out of my little dark hole piece by agonizing piece

On the other hand, there are certain historical figures I would LOVE to meet -- and hopefully I will meet many of them, in heaven. The great reformers of the 16th century -- John Knox, John Calvin, Martin Luther. And J. Gresham Machen, the founder of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. The wonderfully anonymous writer of Hebrews.

And then all the authors of my favourite books...

I'm happy to report that some authors of favorite books are currently living, in case the above ramble had you in doubt

okay so one thing. I have always been puzzled by the way people use "celebrity", what constitutes "celebrity", what degree of popularity is necessary to achieve "celebrity"

(and in true overthinker fashion, I must also overthink what favorite means in this context)

(frankly, when I use "favorite" in terms of people I'm usually referring to my friends, most of whom possess quite disputable celebrity status)

now, if I may personally define the demographic that "celebrity" is being paged in, I would tell you my father. no, aforesaid demographic is not my siblings, even if my siblings are about as numerous xD

as I have overthought this far too hard, I am not accepting constructive criticism on the final verdict, favorite celebrity is my father, end of story :)
