#WattpadWednesday - something I love about Wattpad and one thing I'd like to see in the future.

You Guys!!!

I do!  I really love how Wattpad adopts a kind of "social media" style.  It does diminish the number of people you can reach in a market.  Unless of course you are writing for a Big Wattpad Market, but I do like the sense of community.

What I'd change, or like to see in the future?  I have to agree with elvenprincesscher on this one.  Better ways of streaming out what I don't want to read.  A "I don't like this" type of opt out option. 

I also think the ever changing algorithm, thought smart, often doesn't seem fair to a lot writers.  Specifically writers in smaller pocket fandoms.  More interest for other fandoms wouldn't hurt either Wattpad.  1D, Star Wars, and the walking dead is great BUT I'm not a fan. By the universal algorithm for Wattpad my LotR stories are lost in a sea of Fanfic with higher hits and Wattpad only seems interested in supporting the flavour of the month.  That may be good for business BUT it's not exactly cohesive or a fair representation of actual writing talent active on Wattpad.  I assume the same could be said for smaller fiction genres too.

But, that being said I've loved my time here on Wattpad.  I can't complain about the friendships it has brought me.  It's been a positive influence.
