Kodaviah was chilling at Brandy's accommodation, FaceTiming his group aka the Triple Ks.

They had called themselves that after Khamil (Omar Epps) realised that all of their names had begun with K.

So there was Kodaviah, Khamil and someone else known as Kalahandra (Bumper Robinson). These three had been together since the start of the university.

Kodaviah was talking to his friends about Brandy, and he was eating Chicken Tikka Masala in the dining room.

Brandy had had some left over, and Kodaviah had told her that he could have used it, just not everything as it was actually Brandy's.

Mariah Carey's song 'It's Like That, Y'all' was blasting through the stereos, but not too loudly in case everything had annoyed the three of them in the accommodation.

Two now, Vishavané had left to go and do something after Esther Marie had accidentally called her a burden to the group.

She would have actually cheered her up now but she knew from past experiences that that was the wrong thing to do entirely.

It was best for Vishavané to have her space before anything else.

"Bro, how the hell can you say that Brandy is the one when you've only known her for two weeks?" Kalahandra had pointed out through FaceTime.

"Yeah, please don't tell me you wanna be her boyfriend. You ain't even known that girl for that long, don't rush anything, K."

Kodaviah initially did want to be her boyfriend, but after he had realised how long they had known each other for?

He had realised that asking Brandy to be his girlfriend wasn't the right thing to do at all.

Plus, hello?

She was with Jahking.

In Kodaviah's defence though, he didn't exactly know that Brandy had just broken up with him yet. She wasn't going to tell him, why would she?

She didn't want him to be her boyfriend.

"I'm saying that when we know each other long enough, and assuming Brandy's true colours don't change for the worse, then she's the one."

Brandy was actually listening to the whole thing through the wall at the moment. She really wanted to thank Kodaviah for everything.

They may have almost gotten arrested by the police and everything, but the fact that Kodaviah had been there for Brandy especially how nobody else really was today was more than enough to call him a good friend.

She had waited for their conversation to end, and nobody had ever said anything this nice about Brandy in her life.

The opposite gender as her anyway.

How we met? Oh we met at Savvy and Swiftly when we were arguing over Ferrero Rochers.

She had smiled to herself as she had remembered that day loud and clear.

"Hey! Gimme those Ferrero Rochers if you know what's best for you."

Brandy was talking to Shanae about the importance of food banks, most especially during Christmas, but she couldn't anymore, now that Kodaviah was there.

"Excuse me?"

Kodaviah rolled his eyes.

Before coming up really close to Brandy once and for all.

"Look, ma'am, I did not spend almost an entire hour in some stupid queue for nothin'. My parents need these chocolates, they'll be ticked off at me if I don't get them."

It probably wouldn't have taken Kodaviah that long to wait in the queue if he hadn't caused any commotion earlier.

But the queue was still almost an hour long either way, so therefore it didn't really make much of a difference to the ending results.

He wasn't lying.

But that didn't mean that Brandy was just going to give it to him, just like that.

She saw them first.

"Aren't there other Ferrero Rochers though?"

"You have the last ones."

She looked at Kodaviah, and he had done the same thing to her.

However, even though he looked desperate?

She shook her head.

Then this had led to another argument which had also almost gotten them arrested.

Damn, it had really seemed as though whenever these two were together, they had always almost gotten arrested.

Either way, Kodaviah had almost finished his conversation with his friends, and when he had eventually said goodbye to them and that he could have seen them at the concert?

That was when Brandy had come.

Little did all of them know that J Star Valentine had screwed up massively, and now they were going to postpone the concert until next week.

J Star had stupidly forgotten to book Kid Cudi's house for his concert, and it was too late for him to book it.

Kid Cudi's next feee skit wasn't until next week, and he had posted everything on all of his social media accounts.

A lot of people had thrown shade at him, but his true fans stuck around.

Real situations expose fake people.

That was the truth.

"Kodaviah."

Because Kodaviah hadn't seen Brandy standing right in front of him, he had then freaked out, before saying hi to her back.

"You scared me!"

"I'm so sorry, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for today, and all of the advice you've given me. Also, thanks for the roses. I couldn't get you anything back but I'm still grateful regardless. You're a good friend."

Kodaviah had smiled at that, saying that she shouldn't have mentioned it, and that she didn't have to get him anything back either.

"Are you sure because-"

"Brandy, it's fine," he had laughed. "Give me a hug."

Brandy had then hugged him, after he had stood up from eating his chicken tikka masala.

The hug had lasted way longer than it was supposed to, then it had ended.

Their happiness didn't last for very long though, which was all because Khamil had sent all of them in the Triple K group chat something.

J Star Valentine's concert had been postponed to next flipping week.
