Newt stumbled through the crowds of people as the tears streamed down his pale face. What's wrong with me? He thought as he cupped his hands over his ears. He had no one. Nothing was gonna change that fact.

"Newt!" His friend Thomas yelled. Newt jumped suddenly and sprinted away,the tears staining his eyes but he still ran with blurred,broken vision. He ran away as quick as he could.

He couldn't stand this..

So Newt made his way to his apartment. Slamming the door as he feel down,leaning his head against the wall as he squeezed his eyes shut.

"Newt open the door!" Thomas yelled as he banged on it. Over and over. Newt just ignored him and grabbed the gun,panting heavily as he rested it against his forehead. One small pull.. Death did win but at least he got to choose when.

"Newt open up!" Thomas cried,
"Please.. Tommy.. Please.. Can you just leave me alone?" Newt croaked out as his fingers hovered over the trigger.
"Never. I'd never leave without you Newt..."

At that moment the door burst open. Thomas' eyes widened as he walked over to his best friend. Kneeling down as he held hands with the blonde,tears forming.

"Newt.." He whimpered. Newt couldn't say anything,all parts of him seemed utterly frozen beyond repair. He doubted that Tommy could talk him out of anything "Newt. Just listen.. You're my friend,I love you. You're stronger than this. So just put down the gun,or let your hands go.."

"But I want this..." Newt whispers.
"No you don't," Thomas leant over and kissed his cheek,then moved closer to his lips until the gun managed to slip out of his hand. The two boys sighed of relief as Thomas put the gun away.. Far far away from Newt.

"Shhh.." He coos to him as he scoops Newt up bridal style. Newt just clung to him like a last breath you'd breathe. His head curled into Thomas' chest as he laid him down. Their hands entwined as Thomas stroked his hair back.

"You're gonna be okay Newt," he smiled reassuringly "You can't give up. I won't let you.."

"Thanks Tommy," he whispered as his eyes closed and he gently fell asleep.
