Hey Liz. Thank you so much for your request and here it is. I did use TWD as a big inspiration for this so if anyone feels like they've heard this plot before that's where. But a lot of this is original thoughts/ideas too so I hope you enjoy it!
Request:Newt basically sees me die in the hands of Wicked and when when he finally gets to me I'm dying.

You had been taken from Newt and the rest of your friends. Ever since escaping the maze you hadn't seen him. You didn't know if he was alive,or what had happened to him. Instead,you became part of another group of survivors,and you had found Gally again. The group of you had been taken to a different building from Newt and the rest of the Gladers. You were treated well and looked after by a doctor named David.

"Liz!" The doors bangs open to reveal Gally.

You sit up from your bed- "what's going on?"

"Somethings wrong... Come on!" You grab your jacket and follow Gally. You forgave him. You forgave Gally for killing your friend Chuck. You knew to love means loving the unlovable. To forgive means pardoning the unpardonable. Faith means believing the unbelievable. Hope means hoping when everything seems hopeless. Forgiveness is giving up the hope that the past could have been any different.

Once you reached David's office,you see him sitting beside his computer-looking down at his hands.

"David what's happening!?" You demand.

"We're preparing harvest,you'll be fit for the vaccination in ten to thirty minutes."

"Then what happens?"

"The vaccination... Shuts down every cell,stops your heart beating. Then we can drain you."

Your eyes widen as my feel your heart sink,running a hand through your hair. You were going to die.

"We're close to a solution here," David explains "Janson and Ava told me today. We just need more subjects."

"Grab your things!" Gally barks to everyone,you can sense his panic took "we're getting outta here. Now!"

But just then the doors bolt shut. Then a large thirty minute countdown appears on the screen.

"What's going on!?" You scream "did you just lock us in!? HE JUST LOCKED US IN!"

"Son of a bitch!" Gally runs to knock out David but he's yanked back by a few others.

"David open that door now!" You demand.

"There's no point. Janson wants you prepped by thirty minutes and if I don't do my job I'll be thrown out and killed by the scorch. It's better this way."

"What is? So we die in twenty-eight minutes!? I have a boyfriend... Friends... You can't do this."

"Sorry I don't have a choice... You know what this place is."

"I know you lost people,we all did. But please... Please I am begging you. Just let us keep going as long as we can."

"You better keep going kid," he presses a button which opens the door.

"Come on!" Gally yells.

"Here's your chance take it."

"We're grateful."

"The day will come when you won't be."

You didn't believe that. But you just nod,patting him on the shoulder as you follow Gally out into the beyond with no idea of what was about to come.

"Gally?" You nibble on a piece of rotten bread as you both wander through an abandoned factory "you planned on what you're going to say to Thomas when we find them?"

"Liz there's a chance we won't ever find them," he mumbles "a very high chance."

"A chance is a chance."

"There might be something in here," he tries to open the locked door "dammit. I'm gonna go search for something to open the shucking door. You keep guard,okay?"

"Got it." You nod as he runs off. You keep your eyes peeled on the door,was Gakly right? Was Newt even alive? You just wanted to see his face,to hold him.

Everything floods through you as a crank bites down on your arm. You scream which signals Gally,his eyes widen.

"Shuck..." He gasps as you fall against the door "Liz,relax. I think I can hear some people outside. I'm going to get them to save you. Just... Stay here. Don't move,keep pressure on the wound... I'll get them. I'll get them." He sprints off,leaving you in utter pain.

"You're a good person... That's why you're gonna die today." Ratman smirks. Your eyes widen at the hallucination. Seeing dead people... Is this what dying is?

"Nobody has to die today," you whisper.

"If you believe that,then you're already dead."

"No..."

You roar in pain and lay there,clutching your bleeding arm. You were loosing too much blood.

"I tried to tell you," Ben says,sitting against the wall opposite you "I told you to listen to me before you shoved me into the maze. Of course it was gonna be you."

"Of course it was," ratman smirks "you escaped our compound and got yourself bit,killed exactly."

"It's better now Liz," Teresa smiles.

"It is." Chuck smiles too "it's better now."

"It's not better now." Ratman snaps "you know damn well..." He steps closer and your hallucstioms change as ratman for,s into a crank. Too weak to move,you allow him to bite into your already bitten arm as you wail out in pain. You lay there in complete shock,hardly able to breathe.

"RUN!" Thomas yells as he sprints in,behind him is Minho then Newt them Gally. You see the pain in his eyes as Newt sprints over to you,wrapping you in his arms.

"Holy bloody shit.... Liz. Liz,look at me!" He strokes your hair back. "Love we gotta cut off your arm. THOMAS WHERE'S YOUR BLOODY KNIFE!"

"Here," he panics and pulls out a small blade.

"No..." You whimper "I've lost too much blood. It won't work."

"Then... What do I do?" Newt panics "I've just lost you and now I'm gonna loose you? This isn't fair..."

"Life isn't fair," you whisper as he presses a soft kiss to your lips.

"You... Want me to end it?"

"Yes. Please."

"Liz...." He sobs "I don't know what to do. Tell me what to do!"

"You're going to be fine," you whisper,taking your blood soaked hand in his "you are going to be fine. You're gonna beat this world I know you will. You're smart,you're strong and you're so brave... And I love you."

"I love you too,"

"Just do what's right. Promise me you'll always do what's right... It's so easy to do the wrong thing in this world. So if it feels wrong dint do it. Don't let the world spoil you... You promise?"

"I promise." He sobs,pulling you tight into his arms as you both sob.

Newt lays you back,stroking your head as you look up at his eyes which were red with tears... "Goodnight love..." He chokes out as your vision fades to white and then to nothing.

"Here's your chance take it."

"We're grateful."

"The day will come when you won't be."
