There is a rumor that there is a Shiny Yvetal that doesn’t like fighting, and could only appear at midnight instead of day. Why? No one knows. But then, this story would answer that for you.

It was the 24th of December, and the moonlight shone over the streets of a local city. We see no one there- probably everyone went home to sleep. But then, look, there’s a male Shiny Riolu walking around, looking quite lost. Why is he outside at this hour? It is unsure, but at this point, he’s gonna get himself caught by trainers. Just as the Riolu take another step, a sound of wingbeats was heard, and something land behind him. He looked behind him, and this rumored Shiny Yvetal is there before him. See, normally, when a person sees this Legendary Kalos bird, they all immediately run away, due to the fact that Yvetals cause destruction and decay. But.. this one. The Riolu didn’t ran away, in fact, he’s staring at the legendary with eyes full of awestruck and curiosity. The Shiny Yvetal wasn’t sure why he was there and not running away, but worried that it may hurt him, it inched themselves away from him. Though the Riolu followed her, and before the Yvetal was going to move again, it’s right leg was hugged by the small creature.

The Shiny Yvetal wasn’t sure on what to do about this. No one gave them affection and care like this before. Is this what’s like to be known positively? The legendary is unsure of this.. However, when it looked down, and see the Riolu’s big eyes, filled with awe and wonder, looking up at them, the Yvetal couldn’t help but smile slightly. It couldn’t keep him away from them forever. So it decided to keep him hugging her leg, covering his body with his wing gently. It wonders what to do with him, but then, just as it was about to lower their guard, they see a trainer running towards them from a distance. The Yvetal immediately grabbed the Riolu and placed him on their back. The Riolu wasn’t sure on what’s going on, but when the Yvetal started to fly up, he clung onto their back, and soon, the two flew away.

High above the city streets, the Yvetal was flying away.. And as they flew, the Riolu clung onto their backs in fear. However, the fear was gone the second he looked around- the sight of the city below him, the stars in the night sky, and the moon that shone above him. The Shiny Riolu would smile and looked around, as if he’s enjoyed and in awe that this would happen. The Yvetal wasn’t sure what’s going on back there, but it sure is glad that he’s not afraid of heights.

After flying for a while, the Yvetal landed in what appeared to be a cave in a middle of the forest. The Yvetal looked over to the Riolu with a smile, but he was so distracted at the sight of the cavern to notice the smiling legendary. Just as he was about to go in, he noticed something going across the sky. He looked up, and behold- its a shooting star! The Shiny Riolu gasped at the sight of it, and he quickly went on his knees to pray, and wish. Turns out, the Riolu wanted to make a wish- but what wish could it be? The Yvetal, confused at what he’s doing, just stood there awkwardly.. Observing him. The Riolu soon stood up and he looked at her with a smile. What did he wish? What made the Riolu smile at her? It is unclear. The Yvetal was going to ask, but the Shiny Riolu rushed inside the cave, making the Shiny Legendary sigh and go in after him.

Though tonight the Yvetal let the Riolu slept in there with them, they decided to keep him with them so he could have a place to live. Though, when Christmas Morning arrived, the Yvetal woke up with a present next to their head. They opened the gift, and they see what appears to be a good looking necklace- ironically long enough to fit the Yvetal’s neck. The Yvetal wasn’t sure on what to do here- to keep it, or to give it away, but then they decided to keep it. However, that leaves the shiny Legendary to wonder, who gave it to them? It is unsure. However, the Yvetal also notice the Shiny Riolu cuddling against their big body, which made it smile. Somehow, despite all of the confusion, and nervousness, the Yvetal knew that it made the right choice.

And so, the Shiny Yvetal kept the Shiny Riolu under their wing, and the two lived happily ever after. May their story bring merriness in your christmas.

EXTRA SCENE (for fun XD):
“Huh. Didn’t know you keep Sunset with you, Yena.” A Mightyena named Moonlight said as she sat next to them. “Yeah. Odd, though. I thought he’s gonna live with you.” The Shiny Yvetal, Yena, replied with a blank gaze. “Ha! As much as I wanted to, I don’t want my pack to think that this Riolu is my partner. I’d rather much be a lone alpha.” The Mightyena chuckled. “But then, I never seen you around people before. Maybe you learn a lot from that cute little doggo.”

“Yeah..” Yena looked over to see the Riolu sitting down in a plain of flowers, plucking out a petal for some reason. “I made a right decision.” The Yvetal spoke.
