"Honey, I'm home!" Kurt called out as he slammed the door shut.
"Hey baby." Blaine teased, "How're you?"
"Doing pretty great, sugar." Kurt winked, "You?"
"Oh, so much better now that you're home, sweetie." Blaine glanced up to Kurt and their eyes met.
And then they both began to laugh and didn't stop for a good 2 minutes.
"It's not even that funny." Blaine laughed, clutching his stomach, "Why're we laughing to much."
"I don't even know." Kurt gasped out, wiping a tear from his eye, "God, we're odd."
"You only just realised that now?" Blaine laughed, "Okay, seriously. I need your help."
Kurt stood up from where he'd collapsed into the couch and nodded.
"So, I have a date tonight and-"
"You have a date?" Kurt shrieked, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I'm telling you now." Blaine pushed his bedroom door open, "I just need you to-"
"Well, tell me about him! What's he like? What's his name? Where's he from? How good looking is he on a scale of 1 to 10? Hair colour? Eye colour? Height? Age? Where'd you guys-"
"Kurt, calm down. Why're you getting so excited about this?"
"Because, Blaine! You haven't dated anyone ever since Sebastian!"
Blaine sighed and fell backwards onto his bed, covering his head with his hands.
"Oh god, Blaine. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. God, I shouldn't have said tha-"
"Why can't I get over him?" Blaine whispered.
Kurt climbed onto the bed and knelt next to his friend, prying his hands off of his face.
"There's been so many guys. So many one night stands." Kurt didn't think about Blaine having sex as his friend said that, "I-I've even tried speed dating and online dating and- I just want to get over him now."
"Gosh, Blaine. I don't know what to say. Look, you're amazing. Any guy would deserve to have you, okay? But Sebastian took advantage of your incapability to see the bad in people." Kurt squeezed Blaine's hands when he looked up into Kurt's eyes, "I- look, I'll help you pick out an outfit, yeah? And then when you get back home we can spend hours fangirling over your awesome new boyfriend. Or we can curl up on the sofa and binge watch sappy romance movies and feel sorry for our pathetic single asses? Yeah?"
Blaine laughed, "What would I do without you?"
-_-_-
At exactly 12:00am their front door slammed closed and Kurt's head snapped up to see his best friend standing there leaning against the door, a dopy smile on his face.
"Good date?" Kurt grinned when Blaine opened his eyes slowly to smirk at him.
"The best."
Kurt laughed and shut his laptop, scooting over on the couch and gesturing for Blaine to sit.
"Tell me about it?"
"God, it was perfect. I met him outside his house and we just walked around Central Park for a while. Just talking and getting to know each other. Then he took me to this gorgeous little Italian restaurant which I've never been to before. I need to take you there soon though, the food is incredible." Blaine grinned before continuing, "Then we walked around for a bit longer and we came to some street performers and he payed them to play 'Can't Help Falling In Love' and we just danced around for a while. We also stopped in a karaoke bar, only for half an hour and his voice is incredible, Kurt. You need to hear it. Then he walked me back here and- man, can he kiss. God, his lips are like- like- I can't describe it."
Kurt grinned, "That good, huh? Well, what's he look like?"
"Oh yeah! Well, he has awesome cheekbones for a start. And his hair is like- like almost as amazingly coifed as yours, but not quite. But it's like black with one pink stripe through it and I'd normally be, like, completely against that but it actually made him look hotter if that's possible! Ugh, and he's so- so charming and endearing and confident and I just- I never wanna stop talking to him. He- oh! He even wears guyliner! But it, like, it brings out his amazing blue eyes! There like two big oceans that I could just get lost I forever. Oh my god! The jeans he was wearing! They were so tight I had to stop and wonder if he was, like, suffocating his- his- oh my god!" Blaine yelled and Kurt jumped, startled, "He's so hilarious! I don't think I stopped laughing once! He always has a comeback and- oh yeah. I told him about you." Kurt frowned as he watched his friend fish around in his back pocket before pulling out a piece of paper, "He gave me his friend's phone number to give to you. He said he thinks it'd be cool if you two went out. Apparently you'd be a good match. So yeah."
Blaine grinned and pressed the paper into Kurt's hand, "I'm gonna go call him and then I'm going to sleep. Wow, I'm tired. Night Kurt, love you."
Kurt gaped at his best friend's retreating figure before looking back down to the paper in his hand.
-_-_-
"Hey, Blaine?" Kurt called as he walked into his friend's room, "Hey, I was going to call this- oh my god!"
Kurt covered his eyes and ran out of the room when he saw his best friend straddling another man, grunting as they kissed feverishly.
Suddenly the moans stopped followed by an almost silent curse, "Shit."
And then Blaine was out of the room and grabbing Kurt's hands, "Hey, Kurt. I'm so sorry. Hey, it's okay. It's-"
"Yes, it is okay. You're allowed to do- do that with whoever you want! I just wasn't expecting it."
"Hi, you must be Kurt." A man grinned and thrust his hand into Kurt's, "I'm Ash."
Kurt looked up before hastily looking back down, damn, this guy was good looking, "Hi."
"I wish we could've met under better circumstances but what can I say? This guy over here is just too irresistible." Ash nudged Blaine who blushed and shoved him back.
-_-_-
"Kurt?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you ever call that number Ash gave you?"
"Oh yeah, in fact I have a date with him right now! Bye!"
Blaine frowned at the door his best friend had just walked through. That was odd. Did Kurt seem angry with Blaine?
No. What could he possibly be angry at?
-_-_-
"Blaine." Kurt yelled, "Blaine! Blaine! Oi, get up."
Kurt rolled his eyes and shoved his friend, rolling his eyes again when his friend moved to get up only to get tangled in the blankets around his legs and fall off the bed with an "Oof."
"Kurt? What the hell?"
"Blaine, show me a picture of Ash."
"Uh, what?"
"Fine I'll do it myself." Kurt sighed and reached for Blaine's phone, typing in the password he'd known for years because Blaine refused to change it. Ever.
After finding a picture of Blaine's boyfriend he nodded before pulling out his phone and finding a picture of Elliot, the man he'd had a date with the night before.
"Look." He shoved both phones into Blaine's hands, sighing when his friend blinked blearily at the screens.
"Uh, who's that?"
"That's Elliot. The guy I went on a date last night with. The phone number Ash gave me, remember?"
"Oh yeah. He's cute." Blaine smiled at Kurt, "Why're you showing me this though?"
Kurt groaned, "How can you be so stupid? They're the same damn person, Blaine."
"What?" Blaine shrieked, "No they're not! Look! Ash has a pink highlight in his hair and Elliot doesn't."
"Yes, because Elliot's hair is coiffed conveniently to the opposite side which would mean and pink highlights would be hidden."
"But- but Elliot has glasses and Ash doesn't!"
"Blaine, look at Ash's eyes and tell me honestly if you think it's possible for someone to have natural blue eyes like that?"
"You think he wears contacts?"
"Probably. Blaine, I think Ash isn't who he says he is."
"Neither is Elliot." Blaine whispered.
Kurt nodded sadly, "Because they're the same person."
-_-_-
"Okay, I've called Ash and asked him to come over." Blaine smirked.
"I asked Elliot to come as well." Kurt sighed, "But unfortunately, he's busy at the exact same time Ash is coming over."
"Such a shame." Blaine pouted.
10 minutes later, the doorbell rang and both Kurt and Blaine stood up to answer it.
"Hi Blain- and Kurt." Ash smiled.
"Hi Ash." Kurt smiled innocently, "Do you know if Elliot's coming?"
"What?" Ash frowned, "I thought Elliot texted you to say he couldn't come."
"Oh, I'm not sure." Kurt frowned, "Oh no. I don't know where my phone is. Can you call it for me, Ash?"
"Yeah sure." He smiled politely before bringing up Kurt's contact and hitting call.
Kurt's phone began to ring from his pocket and Kurt laughed, "Oh, silly me. It's been in my back pocket this whole time. Hey, Ash? Since when do you have my phone number?"
Ash froze and he glanced up slowly to meet Kurt's gaze, "I, uh, Blaine gave it to me, in case of emergency. Right Blaine?"
Now it was Blaine's turn to look confused, "Did I? I don't remember doing that."
"You did."
"I don't think so."
Ash closed his eyes before smiling, "Oh yeah, it was Elliot that gave it to me!"
"Ah, right." Kurt nodded, "Well, let me quickly call Elliot to make sure he can't come."
Ash smiled before realising what that would meant and quickly made to grab Kurt's phone, freezing when his phone began to ring.
"Ash, do you have Elliot's phone?" Blaine asked curiously.
"I-"
"I think you should go Ash." Kurt smiled, "Or is it Elliot?"
"It's Adam." He groaned, "Hey, guys. I'm sorry. No hard feelings, right?"
"Bye Adam." Kurt smiled.
"You guys up for a threesome?"
Blaine slammed the door shut and the pair stared at each other for a while before collapsing against one another.
"Hey, Kurt?"
"Hmm?"
"Why is there mistletoe above our door?"
Kurt frowned and glanced up, a smirk crossing his features, "Can't say I know."
Blaine narrowed his eyes slightly, "Have any idea who put it there?"
"Maybe." He whispered before leaning in and connecting their lips.
Geez, I have no idea what just happened. My original idea was to just have them decorating their Christmas tree and get caught in the moment so I have no idea how this happened....
Hope you liked it anyway Klaine8888
