Kurt smiled as Blaine rolled them over, humming against his lips when his husband straddled his hips.
Blaine groaned when Kurt's hips bucked up slightly.
Kurt was just opening his mouth to allow Blaine's tongue entrance when the door flew open.
A young boy jumped onto their bed and Blaine all but leapt off of Kurt, tucking himself back underneath the covers and placing a pillow conveniently on top of his crotch.
Kurt rolled his eyes at his husband and stretched his arms open, gesturing for his son to climb into his arms and cling to him tightly.
"What's up, buddy?"
"Bad dream." The boy sniffed, nuzzling closer into Kurt's chest.
Kurt pressed a kiss to the boy's curly brown hair and hugged him closer to his body.
Blaine smiled once he'd taken a few deep breaths and moved towards his small family, wrapping both arms around Kurt and their son.
"Dad, you're squishing my face." The boy spoke in a muffled voice as he hit Blaine's chest lightly.
Blaine chuckled and moved backwards looking down and running his fingers through the boy's hair, "It was just a nightmare, yeah?"
"Yeah." He pouted, "Still scary though."
"It's just inside your head, Mattie."
He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked into his dad's hazel eyes which confused him because people always said he had his dad's eyes but his dad still had eyes, "But I heard you telling daddy that 'just because it's in your head doesn't mean it's not real'. Were you lying, daddy?"
"No! Of course I wasn't lying. I was just, uh," Kurt shrugged when Blaine glanced helplessly at him.
"Hey, Mattie?" Kurt ruffled his son's hair, "Should we go see if Santa came?"
"But... is it- dad? Is it Christmas already? I thought it was still bedtime."
Kurt smiled, "You went to sleep remember, silly?"
Mattie looked confused for a moment before he seemed to make up his mind and suddenly stood up and began bouncing on the bed.
"Mathew, what have we told you about jumping on the bed?" Blaine asked sternly.
Mattie immediately dropped back down, "Sorry dad."
And then he jumped off of the bed and sprinted out of the room, his little feet going down the stairs echoing around the house.
Blaine chuckled as he stared at the space his son was a few seconds ago, "How did I get so lucky?"
Kurt wrapped and arm around Blaine's neck and pulled him into a kiss, "How did we get so lucky, you mean?"
"Dads, come on! Santa came!"
-_-_-
"- and then dad opened a box that had a big blue willy in it!" Mattie laughed loudly, his friend joining in.
"See what you've done, Satan?" Kurt glared at the Latina stood next to him, "You've corrupted my son."
"Oh please, you've probably been doing that by yourselves with all the wild sex you have when you think he's asleep."
"Seriously, Santana." Blaine groaned as he appeared behind Kurt, wrapping his arms around his waist and pressing a kiss to his neck, "You shouldn't have given that to us, especially not with Mattie around."
"Ah Warbler, you'll never learn will you? Never trust a present from Santana Lopez herself." The girl smirked before walking away.
"She hasn't changed at all." Kurt sighed as he watched her walk away.
"Not one bit." Blaine agreed, "Hey, Kurt? Do you think we're doing the right thing?"
"The right thing for what?" Kurt turned to face Blaine.
"For- for raising Mattie. I-I- don't you think he needs, like, a mom in his life or-"
"Blaine." Kurt snapped, "I know damn well you don't think like that so tell me who told you that it's unacceptable for two men to raise a child together so I can go kick their ass."
"I- it was just some guy in the street that I met when I was taking Mattie to go get you a present. He- he asked me why I wasn't with my wife and, after explaining that I was just buying a present, I told him that I had a husband. And he, uh, he said some things."
Kurt rolled his eyes, "Blaine, people like that still live in the Stone Age and have no idea about love at all. But seriously, don't waste time thinking about it. You and I both now that Mattie will do well in life whether we raise him or that dirty homophobe you met in the street raised him."
Blaine smiled, "You're right. God, I love you."
