The night hadn't really been relaxing. Jisung had slept very restlessly, even though Chan and Changbin had been in bed with him.

But the concern for his mother had tormented him too much. She was awake again, but Jisung had never seen her so weak. His mother was a very proud, committed woman who rarely showed weakness.

Sometime in the middle of the night, Chan had decided that it couldn't go on like this.

Careful not to wake the other two, he had sneaked out of bed and sat down at his laptop in his room.

They would certainly not produce new songs in a mood like this, neither would it help anything to sit in the studio and do nothing.

So he had decided to take the risk of not appearing in the studio in the next few days.

Instead, he would take his two favorite people and together they would treat themselves to a break.

He already knew where he wanted to go with the them.

Jeju Island.

Some time ago, they had spent two wonderful weeks together there and even if it would only be a few days this time, he hopes that they could at least recover a little.

To be able to forget the stress of the last time, at least for a few days.

He booked a ticket for the ferry and a small apartment for five nights under his English name. Anything else would have been too conspicuous.

After that, he crawled back to Jisung and Changbin to bed satisfied with himself, attracted the youngest and closed his eyes.

Chan's alarm clock rang early in the morning. There was still a lot to do until they left and he also had to wake up the others soon.

Tired, he stretched out and wanted to get up, but Jisung held him tight.

"Stay here...!" the youngest muttered sleepy, while Changbin put his arm loosely over Chan's hip from the other side.

"But we have to get up, we have something important planned today!"

Confused, the two opened their eyes and looked at him.

"We have plans? I'm definitely not going to the studio today!" Changbin said negatively and Jisung also looked like he would rather go anywhere differently than to the studio.

"We're not going to the studio at all. So let's get up and pack our things. Oh, and pack warm clothes. We will need them!"

The two only looked at him more confused, but got up with him.

Smiling, Chan disappeared into his room and packed clothes for the next few days. On top of that, he put his recording equipment. Perhaps creativity would come back with a little distance and calm.

Just as he left his room, Changbin also came out of his room with a small suitcase.

"How long will we stay away? And will you at least tell me where we're going?"

"Only until Sunday afternoon. And no, I won't tell you."

Grinning, Chan disappeared in the bathroom to pack his cosmetic stuff, but Changbin just followed suit.

"Channiiiie... Tell me!"

But Chan just shook his head.

"Go and see if Jisung needs help! I'm in the kitchen."

There he packed snacks and something to drink for the trip.

And after he finished it, Changbin and Jisung were also finished. Curiously, the two stood in the hallway and looked at him waiting.

"Let's go to the car."

The two went ahead while Chan locked the apartment door.

Chan drove while the other two had made themselves comfortable in the back seat.

"If you tell me where we're going, I can also drive!" Changbin tried to get their destination out of Chan again.

But he just shook his head laughing and then concentrated on the street.

"You don't know where we go either?"

Changbin shook his head and pondered for a while where they could go.

The journey from Seoul to Jeju, or to the ferry, took quite a while and at some point Jisung and Changbin fell asleep.

They woke up again when Chan was driving on the ferry.

With big eyes they looked out the window and slowly it dawned on them where they were on their way.

"Are we where I think we are?" Jisung asked with shining eyes.

"We are!" Chan said with a smile.

If Jisung had been able to, he would have jumped excitedly up and down. So he could only fidget excitedly and full of anticipation on his seat.

Changbin watched him grinning and was just as looking forward to the days ahead of them.
