Later that evening, at the beach house which was currently  like a zoo decorated  and filled with guests, the press and security for both the rehearsal dinner and Peters campaign announcement, Maeve walks through the garden after getting rid of Olivia, Peter's campaign manager. The garden was filled with blue and red, the colors of Peters party, his pictures and Slogan "Rebuilding Together" were draped all around the hallways from the garden to the main house. The Rehearsal dinner was to start at 6 pm while the announcement of his dad's intention to run was to be done at 5pm.

Finding the room containing Lexis, Maeve walks in.

"It's time," Maeve says.

"David?" He asks. A few days earlier, Lexis had called him up and asked him to bring along his pills as he was running out of them, to which he'd promised to do.

"He landed half an hour ago, they're currently running tests on the pills," Maeve states to which Lexis traces his lips nodding. 

He stands up and throws on his jacket. 

"Let's go end this game," He says buttoning up as he walks out.

                  Meanwhile at the Los Angeles international airport a bunch of federal and local authorities were standing guard watching a man from England. Once he'd arrived, they'd apprehended him searching through his luggage. Finding what they wanted, they'd taken him to another room were they told him he had to wait while they ran some tests. After waiting for about an hour, two officers step back into the room and walk towards him.

"David Spencer you are under arrest for the illegal smuggling of Xylex and Dertikloxine into the country," They say to Reid and Karens father David Spencer.

                     Back at the beach house where the rehearsal dinner and Peters announcement to run for the presidential race was to be done, Maeve locks up the outer door leading to the respective rooms containing Reid, Lea, Nathan  and Karen unbeknownst to them.

"Remember, under no circumstance are you to open this door," Maeve says, to which the guards she'd newly contracted nod. 

A few days back, Lexis had the doors and locks changed keeping the master and spare keys while also getting a new company to handle the wedding rehearsals security. 

Lexis walks into his dads room and seats down next to him.

"What are you doing here?" Peter asks.

Lexis leans forward unlocking his fingers. He shuts his eyes and takes a deep breath letting it out as he opens his eyes.

"Do you have anything you'd like to tell me?" Lexis asks.

Peter looks at him and glances back at his papers.

"What would I have to tell you?" Peter asks focusing on the papers.

"I don't know, where do I want you to start from? The fact that for the past five years you've been lying to me? The fact that you fed me with drugs to enforce amnesia? Or the fact that five years later you're still as manipulative and unapologetic?" Lexis asks.

Peter stops reading and looks sharply at Lexis.

"What are you talking about?" Peter says.

"I don't know dad," Lexis says the word dad mockingly.

"What am I talking about? You tell me," Lexis says gesturing to Peter with a wave of his hands.

"Why was I given Xylex and Dertikloxine for five good years when you know fully well they are addictive drugs that can lead to asphyxiation if stopped?" Lexis asks.

"Have you lost your mind? Why would I give you such a drug?" Peter asks.

"Because you wanted me to never remember my past or who I really am so you could keep controlling me and leading me like a sheep?"Lexis suggests.

"Because you wanted me to accept the woman whom you had an affair with, an affair if I might add that led to my mothers death," Lexis says.

Peter forehead furrow as he glances at Lexis realizing he might have regained his memories.

"Or to forget the mother of my child, Hera Reynolds and separate me from my daughter?" Lexis asks.

"What daughter?" Peter asks.

"The daughter your lies and pills caused me to be separated from for five good years, the daughter five years later you once more tried to take away from me with your threats, the daughter whose only wish was to meet her father and you tried to take away from her. Or maybe it was all of the above, because all these were not in the grand scheme that was your becoming the president," Lexis says getting up.

"Because perfect Peter Black couldn't afford having a stain on his record, be it the wife he drove insane leading to her committing suicide, the son he threw into an asylum at a young age or the girl who was not as wealthy as you were and didn't come from a good -in your standards -background and so could never be the perfect first daughter in law so you manipulated, threatened, performed illegal acts, and lied to achieve that," Lexis says placing one hand in his pocket.

"Did you enjoy it?"Lexis asks, head tilted, eyebrow raised.

"This game you, Karen, Lea, Nathan...all of you played with my life and that of my daughter, did you enjoy it? Was it fun? Seeing me foolishly believe the lies and world you weaved for me, seeing me obey your every bidding never, was it fun?" Lexis asks voice filled with anger and pain.

"Again and again and again, you've used, abused and locked me up both physically and mentally,"

"And you think Hera hasn't?" Peter interjects.

"Hera agreed to leave you if I payed her 2 million dollars,"Peter says leaning forward.

"2million dollars, 2 measly million dollars, that's how much you were worth to her," Peter says raising two fingers up.

"At least I'm worth something to her, what am I worth to you ? Am I even worth anything to you? Or simply the brain you need to make yourself wealthier? The brain you need to use in order to become the president? Tell me dad, what am I worth to you?" Lexis asks slapping a piece of paper on the table.

"Hera didn't leave me for two million dollars, she left me because of that," Lexis says pointing to the paper.

Peter picks it up and glances at it. It was a copy of the contract he'd signed with Hera.

"Hera didn't give me up for money, she gave me up for you to fix things, to fix the relationship between Nathan and I, to stop you from sending me back to the asylum or threatening me with it by giving up your rights as my power of attorney. To fix our relationship, for you to finally for once in your life actually act like a father, show me love, care, support and protection,but tell me Peter what did you do?" Lexis asks.

"I protected you," Peter answers.

"Protected me?" Lexis asks and laughs

"By lying to me? By feeding me with drugs to wipe off my memory so you could turn me into a puppet following your every order? By forcing me to call the woman partly responsible for my mothers death, mum? By making me marry the girl whose dad fed me those same drugs that enforced amnesia? By abusing and using me time and time again? By making me lose five years of my daughters life? By causing my sons death? Tell me Peter, how exactly did you protect me because the way I see it, the only one I needed protection from was YOU!" Lexis says furiously.

Peter leans back interlocking his fingers looking into Lexis' eyes with no sign of remorse.

"She had the choice to stay with you, I never threatened her to leave. She decided to leave, she gave you up Lexis, like your crazy mother decided to choose death instead of you. Don't blame me for their lack of love for you," Peter states.

Lexis scoffs, nodding his head.

"You know all my life, you've called my mother and I crazy but why is it that I feel the only truly crazy one is you?" Lexis asks.

"I mean what sane person instead of finding ways to treat their son after being witness to his mums suicide sends them off to an asylum? What sane person locks up his own wife to cheat? Keeps video evidence of his sons torture at the asylum to torment and threaten his son with? Knows his son is sane but keeps calling him insane? Finds out his wife was involved in the cover up of the Lint scandal, a scandal that caused many their lives and instead of being remorseful and angry at her wrongful act is only angry at the fact that it might affect his presidential run? What sane person...drugs his own son at the risk of killing him simply to create a robot, he can control as he deems fit?"

"If being sane means being you then I'd rather be crazy," Lexis says.

"So what? You want an apology? Because if that's what you seek, you've come to the wrong person. I have no intention of apologizing for a difference of opinion," Peter states listlessly.

"Difference of opinion, difference of opinion?  Is that what you think this is? Simply a difference of opinion? You say it like you did no wrong," Lexis says bewildered.

"That's because I didn't," Peter replies resolutely.

Lexis scoffs at his lack of remorse and brazenness.

"Are you done?" Peter asks getting up and buttoning his coat.

"Pardon?" Lexis asks.

"This tantrum you're displaying...are you done?" Peter says picking up the contract and tearing it into pieces.

"Just as it was easy for me to tear this paper into shreds that's how easy it is and will be for me to once more separate you two. So Alexander get your act together because if you don't not only will you lose your freedom, you will lose this so called daughter you claim to have," Peter states.

"You're threatening me," Lexis says eyebrows furrowed.

"I told you, I don't make threats, I make promises. I have the power to see to their being realized, you don't. If you want to bring your case and grievances against me then at least have the power to back you up. Till then,  you will step out of this room with a smile on your face and walk out with the only mother you can ever have, Lea  and I as a happy family, standing with me as I proclaim my intention to run for presidency and tomorrow, you shall marry Karen,"

"And if I don't?"Lexis asks.

Peter grins.

"It's a good thing your memories are back, I don't need to use words to tell you what I'm capable of. Your memories will do that job. So don't dream even for a second that getting your memories back will change things because Alexander, all your memories will and can do for you is remind you of just what I am capable of should you do anything besides what I want," Peter says placing his hand on Lexis' shoulder and squeezes it.

"Since you so desperately want to be paid for what you feel is a wrong towards you then I'm sure the company of which I have handed over to you will be more than enough payment," He adds.

"You have two minutes," Peter says listening to his earpiece.

He turns around and steps out of the room as the door opens up, walking into the ballroom and stepping onto the stage.

Upon getting close to the podium, he notices everyone's eyes on the screens arcross the room and no one cheering his appearance. His eyes follow theirs to the screen.

On the screen was the room where he'd just left and seated there is Lexis, who looks straight at the camera, lightly shrugs and smirks.

Peter tethers, holding unto the podium for support.

"Peter Black," A reporter says calling everyone's attention to Peter.

The group of media men and women all rush toward the stage with their camera's and microphone as Peter stays frozen in shock. The guests all whisper amongst each other looking at him with shock, disgust, pity and joy written on their faces. 

"Peter Black who's this other wife you spoke about,"

"Did you really feed your son with drugs to force amnesia?"

"Why did you send your son to the asylum?"

"Is Lea Black really responsible for the death of your sons mother?"

"Did you cause the suicide of your first wife?"

"Did Lea Black really cover up the lint scandal?"

"Why are there no records of your first wife?"

The questions keep rolling in succession as Peter stays frozen to his spot.

Lexis slowly walks up the stage towards Peter.

Peter glances at Lexis who'd walked onto the stage.

"You...you deceived me," Peter says shock at the betrayal, disbelief and pain written all over his face.

"So what? You want an apology? Because if that's what you seek, you've come to the wrong person. I have no intention of apologizing for a difference of opinion," Lexis repeats Peters words back to him and lightly chuckles standing next to him. 

He leans forward and places his head next to Peters.

"You told me to get more power before throwing threats your way. I got the company and just stopped any chance you'll ever have of becoming the president and you have...nothing," Lexis says loud enough for only Peter to hear, his voice mired with laughter.

"Tell me Peter, how's this for power?" Lexis says lighting placing his hands on his fathers right shoulder and squeezing it as he did to him a few minutes back.

Peter gasps holding tight onto Lexis' hand for support. Lexis jerks his hands from his hold and turns around signaling to Maeve who opens the door allowing in the cops that were there to invite Peter back to the station for questioning.

Maeve walks over to Lexis and escorts him out of the room with a couple of other bodyguards who get rid of the reporters who try to question him as he leaves. Leaving Peter completely alone and unprotected, to the hound of reporters and authorities.

          "Lexis!"Karen screams upon sighting him, being held back by guards. 

Maeve had opened the door upon the conclusion of the conversation between father and son but had made the guards stop them from leaving the room. 

Lexis nods.

Maeve waves at the guards who give way for them to get out.

Karen runs out first towards Lexis while Lea and Nathan rush towards the room holding Peter. As a group of FBI agents approach Lea and invite her for questioning.

"Lexis wait,"Karen cries out but Lexis ignores her and keeps walking as she runs over to him. 

Maeve tries to block her path but Lexis halts and waves at her to let Karen through.

Karen hurries over to his side attempting to hold unto his hands but he pushes her away dusting off the part of his arm her palm had touched, a look of disgust on his face.

"Lexis please I love you," She says.

"If you loved me how could you stand by and watch me lied to? How could you partake in the lies, in the scam you were all playing? The role you made me play? How could you bear not telling me the truth?" Lexis asks.

"Because it was the only way I could protect you," She says echoing peters words.

Lexis scoffs.

"You and Peter have a pretty interesting parallel view on what protecting me entails," He says.

"What was I to tell you?" Karen says with a tear filled face.

"The truth,"Lexis says.

"That the girl you loved abandoned you on your wedding day?" She asks.

His eyelids twitch.

"That she was the reason you lost your memories and almost lost your life?"

"That even after she found out you were alive she abandoned you a second time?"

He balls his hands into fists.

"That she said she wanted nothing to do with you?

Lexis gnashes his teeth.

"Tell me Lexis, how was I to look into the eyes of the man I loved and tell him all these? How was I to break your heart again all for someone who was not willing to fight for you?" She asks.

Lexis stays silent.

"I fell in love with you when we were teenagers, I spent over 18 years of my life with you yet never once during those 18 years did you ever look at me like you did her, never did you smile at me like you did with her. Heck you never actually smiled till she appeared or loved sincerely till her. For Hera you were willing to go against the world, against your father. For Hera..."She says and chokes up as tears fall down her cheeks.

"...you were willing to return to the same asylum that ruined you, you were willing to die for her Lexis, but what did she do? She took and took and took from you leaving you empty and throwing you away like a dirty bowl,"

"That day when I met you again months after the accident. The man I loved, the man I thought was dead was alive before my eyes.  The man who gave everything for his love who betrayed him and yet was only going to accept treatment if you saw the same person who put you in the predicament you were in. I wasn't thinking of being with you, I was simply thinking of making sure you'd accept treatments and become okay and so I lied, to save you,"

"Tell me Lexis, was it wrong of me to have wanted you to be okay? To be well, hale and hearty? Was it so wrong?" She asks crying.

He scoffs.

"No it wasn't wrong for you to have wanted me to be mentally strong, to accept my treatments and become okay. But Karen what was wrong was the lies you kept feeding me with even after I was okay, what was wrong was your ..." He stops and chuckles.

"Your crying telling me stories about scars and weddings that were never and could never be yours to begin with, what was wrong was your looking me in the eyes and making me feel guilty for things I did to you that never happened, what's wrong Karen is your still thinking you did no wrong. That...is what was and is so wrong," He says voice filled with anger and pain at the betrayal.

"But I loved you, I love you,"She says.

"If how you show your love is by lying, stealing, acting, and turning me into who you want and need, making me play a role in the drama you cooked up, then I'm sorry I do not want nor need your love," He says walking away from her as she falls to the ground bawling.

"Karen,"Reid says rushing next to her.

"Dad's been arrested,"Reid says.

Lexis halts his steps and turns to look back at them,  at Lea and Nathan speaking with FBI agents and then the ballroom with Peter in it. 

" Now this is how you play and end a game,"He says putting on his shades as he walks out of the building with Maeve by his side.
