It's still Monday in my part of America....here's your second update, Deal completed lol!

Chapter 11&12  won't have any climax but instead it's aimed at getting you mad at Hera and if that happens, I have succeeded. Sometimes too much climax isn't good, but that's just me though.

"So you want me to tell you something about myself? I don’t have anything to say. Even if I did, you’d be wrong to believe me. Trust is a lie. Nobody ever knows anyone." - Nathan Scott One Tree Hill

The drive back is quiet, with Lexis' eyes shut as he taps his knees from the pinky finger to the index.

Maeve glances at him through the mirror.

"Maeve," He suddenly calls out.

"Yes," She answers turning to look at him.

"I met the daughter at the airport in England and now I meet the mum and daughter in my home. Do you believe in coincidences?" He asks.

"You're thinking it was planned?" Maeve asks.

"Planned?" He asks rhetorically.

He lets out a breath and opens his eyes.

"Plans, plans, plans...the little girl said something about that at the airport didn't she?" He says.

Maeve searches her memories for what she said.

"They were planning on coming to meet her dad in America," Maeve says.

Lexis raises his hands to his lips.

"Why would someone who should be reuniting with her father be in my house with no sign of her dad?" Lexis asks.

"Maybe he wasn't around when we came? Or they haven't met him yet?"Maeve asks.

"That's not it," Lexis answers and touches a piece of paper on the seat next to him.

He picks it up and hands it over to Maeve who looks at it.

"An application for Mixx? We've already held interviews. Hera Reynolds? Who's that?" She asks looking through it.

"The lady who was just in my house, that must be an extra copy," He says.

"How did you get this?" Maeve asks.

"It was on the table, I took it while we were leaving," He explains.

Maeve looks over the application again.

"I'll look into her," She says placing it amongst her files.

"Make sure she gets hired," He says not rejecting her offer to investigate Hera nor accepting it, shutting his eyes signalling the end of the discussion.

Once they arrive at the office, Maeve opens the door for Lexis, he steps out and they walk towards the building.

"Alexander you bastard!" A female voice shouts out garnering their attention.

Lexis looks towards the sound and notices a lady walking towards him angrily.

"Jane?" He says and looks at Maeve. Maeve looks around, it was night time so the street wasn't busy.

The lady reaches Lexis and raises her hands to slap him but Maeve holds her hand in the air.

"Let me go! Alexander you bastard, you stole my dad's company's shares!" Jane says her voice filled with anger. Dried tears visible on her face.

"I'll advise you to be careful with your choice of words," Maeve says.

"Stole?  Your father willingly gave me his company's shares," Lexis says showing no emotion on his face or his voice.

"Because he thought I slept with you!" She screams.

"And that's my fault how?" He asks furrowing his brow.

"Let me go you bitch!" She screams at Maeve trying to remove her hands from Maeve's grasps.

"Let her go," Lexis says to Maeve.

Maeve let's Jane go while exerting pressure that pushes her back causing Jane to fall down.

Lexis walks over to her and stops next to her.

"Your dad didn't trust you enough to finish the video, but instead willingly gave me his shares, if he doesn't have the brains to protect what's his then he deserves to have it taken away," He says and walks away.

"Alexander, I'll get back at you, I promise, I'll make you pay!" Jane screams and bursts into tears. Lexis stops.

"If you have the ability to do so then try, I'll be waiting," He says turning and walking into the building.

Meanwhile, in the house, Hera sits up in her room after crying her heart out to think. Was this all a trick by Lexis? Did he really lose his memory? Was it just because he wanted to meet her friend to confirm her identity that he allowed her stay or did he lie about his memory? But if he lied then he should also know she was lying, or was he simply playing along?

Retrograde Amnesia and Repressed amnesia, they sounded like plausible excuses. After the accident which may have had an impact on his head, coupled with the blow of her betrayal, it made perfect sense that he had amnesia. The Lexis she knew 5 years ago would have come to look for her even if it was to get his revenge but he didn't meaning he must have really lost his memory, which also means she was at a disadvantage. She had no idea what his new memories were made of or what he'd been told but she knew he was now engaged, to Karen. She lets out a deep breath. Karen finally got all she'd ever wanted. She was sure Karen wouldn't have told him about her, especially seeing as he had no memory of his past, why should she? So what exactly did he know? She had so many questions but no answers.

She suddenly remembers her daughter and removes her drip rushing out to the living room. She looks around but sees no sign of Shakespeare.

"Oh my Goodness," She exclaims scared that Lexis had deceived her into thinking he'd lost his memory and due to her pretending not to know him had taken her daughter away in anger, realizing she was his.

"Shakespeare....No Shakespeare," She calls out rushing to the painting studio and finding no sign of Shakespeare. She runs into the room she'd chosen as Shakespeare's room and opens the door ajar running inside. She finds Shakespeare on the bed, tucked in, fast asleep and falls to the ground holding her chest.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you,oh Lord thank you," She chants as tears fall down her cheek. Calming down she gets up and walks over to the bed, and kisses her forehead laying down on the bed, tired.

"Hera?" She hears someone call out to her. She gets up and shuts of the lights in the room walking out to the living room and notices Jess in the kitchen walking towards the fridge.

"Jess?" Hera calls out walking towards the kitchen.

"You left your door open again. You do realize you are not alone right? I mean I wouldn't be as worried if it's just you but Shakespeare's with you," Jess says taking out a bottle of Orange juice. She hadn't had anything to drink for the past few hours and wanted the vitamin c in it to help her throat after all the arguing at court.

"Anyone can just walk in, it's not safe, I'm beginning to wonder..."
Jess continues her lecturing turning around but stops at the sight of Hera's appearance. Hera's hair was disheveled, with her eyes red showing signs that she'd just cried.

"What's wrong?" Jess asks walking towards Hera who was now seated on a stool.

"Hera," Jess says holding her right hand.

"What's wrong?" She asks worried.

"Alexander," Hera says searching Jess' eyes like it held all the answers.

"I saw Lexis," She says.

"Pardon?" Jess asks wondering if she'd heard that right.

"I said I just met Lexis," Hera says.

"In your dream? I told you not to stay in this house but come live with me. This house..." Jess states pausing to drink from her juice relieved that it's just a dream.

"No Jess, I wasn't dreaming. Lexis. Lexis is alive and he was here" Hera says causing Jess to spit her drink out.

I think this is the last truly sad chapter for a while but who knows? Plans change. For those still confused, Lexis didn't sleep with Jane.
