Ryan: when did you get adopted? If you dont mind me asking

Brendon: a couple weeks before my thirteenth birthday before I moved to Nevada

Ryan: what happened to your biological parents?

Brendon: bunch of neglectful assholes

Brendon: crack whore mother drug dealing father both very bad tempers

Ryan: oh I'm sorry that.. you shouldn't have gone through that

Brendon: I dont need pity it's in the past

Brendon: I had my new start, new home, new school

Ryan: do you ever think of them?

Brendon: who?

Ryan: your biological parents

Brendon: I have parents Ryan not those sorry excuses for human beings they've been fucking dead to me years before I even got put in foster care

Brendon: I don't know where they are or what they're doing and I frankly couldn't give a shit

Brendon: my parents' names are Grace and Boyd Urie they love me and prove it I couldn't ask for better people to raise me

Brendon: I don't look back because that doesnt matter to me these two humans made me who I am and deal with my hyper compulsive ass they treat me like I'm their blood son and support me in every way I can ask for

Brendon: so no I do not think of the bastards who brought me into this world and treated me like shit

Ryan: Brendon I didn't mean to upset you I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked

Brendon: no no I'm sorry I just... I haven't really talked to anyone about this guess I had some stuff I wanted to get off my chest I didn't realize

Ryan: if it helps you can keep ranting on me I'm all ears or screen

Brendon: no it's okay I'm good for now but I'll keep that in mind for later

Ryan: so.. your adoption day was for favorite memory

Brendon: lol yeah I dont think I've even been that happy before

Brendon: my social worker had me dressed up in this button up shirt it was the best she could get me I wore some old jeans I had and beat up handme down converse I was a mess when I walked into that courtroom Mom was crying and hugged me so tightly I never felt a mother's warmth like that Dad hugged me too and I could tell he was trying not to cry too after everything I had gone through I felt like things were actually going to be good for me I was gonna have a family

Ryan: don't you have like four siblings

Brendon: lol yeah they've moved out already when I first got home they welcomed me so quickly it was like I was meant to be a part of that family

Ryan: it sounds like you're really happy with them

Brendon: I really am

Ryan: that's good

Brendon: sorry about ignoring you today or well yesterday now just haven't really thought about this stuff in a while and it just upset me more than I expected it to

Ryan: understandable if you never talked about it before

Brendon: I guess still sorry

Ryan: it's okay you're talking to me now and you're better so everything's okay

Brendon: okay :)

Ryan: I gotta go to bed if I want the chance to wake up for school on time showing up on time has actually been helping my grade who would've thought

Brendon: guess it's the eighth wonder of the world

Ryan: guess so
