The morning sun was already high in the sky by the time Chloe and Serena returned to the hotel. The atmosphere in their room was a mix of energy and nostalgia as they realized their weekend getaway was coming to an end. Chloe was the first to push open the door, with Serena close behind her. Maya looked up from her spot on the bed, where she had been scrolling through her phone, and smiled as the two girls walked in.

"You're finally back!" Maya teased, raising an eyebrow. "I was starting to think you both decided to extend your stay elsewhere."

Serena laughed, throwing her overnight bag onto the bed and running a hand through her hair. "Sorry about that, Maya. I completely knocked out at Rex's place."

Maya grinned. "I figured as much. I got your text this morning."

Chloe had already begun gathering her things, but she paused to smirk at the other two. "So, what about you, Maya? How was your night?"

Maya shrugged casually, though there was a twinkle in her eye. "I ended up going to the restaurant where Alex works. We hung out there for a bit, and then I went back to his place. Nothing major, just chilled."

"Sounds nice," Serena said, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "I'm glad you weren't too lonely."

Chloe, meanwhile, couldn't resist asking, "So... just chilled? Nothing else happened?"

Maya rolled her eyes but smiled. "We might've kissed, but that's it. It was sweet."

Serena nodded approvingly as she folded some clothes and slipped them into her suitcase. "Well, that's something, right? At least you had some fun."

"And what about you two?" Maya asked, her curiosity piqued. "You both look like you had interesting nights."

Chloe shot a sly grin at Serena. "Serena, you go first. How was Rex?"

Serena chuckled, a slight blush coloring her cheeks. "It was nice. I went to his gig, and we hung out there for a while. We, um, kissed a bit while he was DJing, which was kind of hot," she admitted with a laugh. "Then after his gig, we went for a drive, ended up back at his place, and watched a movie... and fell asleep."

Maya smirked. "Sounds romantic. So, just kisses?"

Serena nodded, her smile turning playful. "Yeah, just kisses. But, you know, it was really nice. He's sweet."

Chloe, who had been trying to suppress her excitement, couldn't hold back any longer. "Well, I didn't just kiss," she confessed, her tone teasing. "I ended up spending the night with Landon."

Serena and Maya both turned their full attention to Chloe, eager to hear more. "Details!" Maya demanded.

Chloe grinned as she folded the last of her clothes. "Let's just say, it was worth the wait. We had a good time, and yeah... we did it."

Serena raised an eyebrow. "More than once?"

Chloe's grin widened. "You could say that."

The three girls laughed, enjoying the lightheartedness of the moment as they continued packing. Despite the different paths their nights had taken, they were all content with how things had turned out.

As they zipped up their bags and prepared to check out, Chloe glanced around the room, a sense of finality settling in. "It's been a wild weekend, hasn't it?"

Maya nodded, a fond smile on her face. "Definitely. I'm gonna miss this place."

Serena sighed, looking out the window at the city below. "Yeah, but at least we made some good memories."

With that, they grabbed their bags and headed for the door, ready to face the next adventure, whatever it might be.
