{2. Fox}

"Foxwell Richards, report to Dean Aidan's office," a shrill voice squeaked into the PA system.

Fox groaned, pushing himself up, letting the chair scrape across the floor. Throwing gum in his mouth, he shoved his hands in his pockets and made way to the fatso's office. Smiling and winking at girls while looking completely unbothered was something Fox was great at and that is exactly what he was doing. Reaching the office, or the Bermuda Triangle (as the students call it), Fox pushed open the door, plopping onto the seat, waiting for his turn.

Over the past few months, Fox grew accustomed to the Bermuda Triangle. Despite being totally amazing and a heartthrob, he was also a genius in hacking. That was after it happened.

Giving a tight smile to the receptionist, Fox scrolled through his inventory, trying to find something to do. Fox wore his iLens, which was basically a modified version of the iGlasses, where you wear contact lenses instead of bulky glasses. The iGlasses weren't those ancient VR artifacts from 2019, they were normal glasses. The iLens was released a year ago yet nobody knew how this happened. The creator of the iGlasses died soon after he released them. The news of new products made everyone wonder if he really was dead.

Shrugging off the idea, Fox glanced around the room, taking in the familiar beige toned walls and beige furniture. He sighed, once again, awaiting the dreaded lecture. The only person to blame here was Fox and his irresponsible self.

When Fox began to get popular and really good at hacking, he slowly forgot about studying. He focused on girls, games and hacking. His grades dropped and the university threatened to suspend him from Coding 101, which was his favourite class. Unable to stop himself from the joy he got from coding, he let his grades fall miserably low. Panicking, Fox hacked his way into the university server to change his grade to make sure he remains in Coding 101. Unfortunately, Fox forgot to hide all traces of his IP address and the technical team traced the address back to Fox. But being the son of Calix Richards, a huge tech tycoon and actor, came with its perks. The university suspended him for a week but didn't dare expelling him.

The timid receptionist beckoned Fox to follow her into the Dean's office. This was the first time the Dean called him. The principles office was the first door on the right and the Dean's office was on the left and the counsellor's was right in front of him, behind the receptionists desk, hence the name: The Bermuda Triangle. Eying the door, Fox pushed open the door to see the Dean standing, looking out the window.

Without waiting for permission, Fox threw himself on the near chair, crossing his right leg over his left. The Dean turned around, regarding Fox with cold eyes.

"Mr. Foxwell-" The dean started.

"Nah, call me Fox. Foxwell sounds too..." He made a weird face, trying to get his point across.

"Mr. Foxwell," the Dean continued,"despite everything that has occurred over the past few months, your academic excellence can't go unnoticed. There is a seminar being held for high achievers in the tech field and I would like you to attend it. Mainly, because we have very important guests coming and I don't want you around for them to ask questions about that incident. We didn't expel you but they won't be as merciful. "

Fox let out a deep sound from the bottom of his throat, regarding the Dean with bored eyes. The Dean sent a message that popped up in his vision, under the name Dean Aiden. He pressed the icon and a message popped up. You received a hotel reservation from Dean Aiden. You received 10 points for receiving a reservation. Fox glared at the Dean from under his lashes. He pushed the envelope into his inventory for later and pushed himself off the chair. Without saying anything, Fox strolled out of the office.

Groaning, Fox made his way into his smart car. Slamming the door with so much force the whole car shook, he shouted, "take me to the nearest Starbucks!"

The driverless car lurched forwards, driving him towards his destination. Fox needed caffeine and he needed it now or he'd explode. The windows showed a bunch of information. The car was synced to his iLens so his messages, videos, memories were all displayed on the windows. In the corner, the minutes and miles of the journey was displayed and his playlist. He thought about what had just happened. They were kicking him out because they don't trust him with answering stupid questions! He thought he'd tell his father about this but thought otherwise when he realised that he was just another inconvenience in his father's life.

The car screeched to a halt in front of a Starbucks. Fox hopped out of the car and entered the shop. You've entered a new Starbucks you've never been to before. Congratulations! You earn 25 points! The message popped up in his vision. Discarding it, he shoved his hands in his pockets.

He stopped in front of the silver haired girl, who asked what he would like.

"Frappuccino," he replied.

"One Frappuccio, anything else?"

"No."

"Alright. What's your good name?"

"Fox."
